This woman is amazing and a true warrior. Bless her for calling out the consequences and impacts of covid on cancer treatment.

I would change "didn't get those symptoms checked out" to "unable to get those symptoms checked out" due to lack of gp care and resources

I think it is an absolute disgrace that anybody had to face hospital appointments alone, some hospitals are still enforcing this cruel and unnecessary policy. It should be made illegal.

The whole "covid" situation has been illegal. "Lockdowns" are inhumane, criminal and downright disgusting. The suffering and damage caused is off the charts.

I had cancer surgery and my kidney removed last year. It was horrific. I had to say goodbye to my little girl and go through it all myself. No visitors for five days. Why they are making people do that even now is awful. Wouldnt wish it on anyone

Hi, I spent ten days in hospital during the pandemic, with an emergency admission to a ward, with massive urine retention and then sepsis, and came home with an indwelling catheter. No visitors then, or for a subsequent hospital stay. And I don't agree. I think that staff and patients needed to be protected from Covid, and the spread had to be stopped.

@@matt76716 They were killing people off in the hospitals and care homes with Midazolam and forced "Do Not Resuscitate" orders (The drug used in the USA was called Remdesivir.) I recommend people research it. For example, Fauci knew before 2020, from studies, that Remdesivir can cause kidney failure, pulmonary edema and septic shock. Yet not only did he authorise its use to fight "covid", he banned all other therapeutic treatments. The terrible scenes witnessed in the hospitals were not because of a new killer virus, but because of the drugs being administered to patients.

A good friend of mine died recently couldn't get an appointment during covid was in lockdown and waited till everything opened up he didn't want to be a pain when the nhs was under pressure. He had symptoms and waited died 6mths after diagnosis. Can't blame anyone but must learn from this. Deborah your a hero and your legacy will live on in the lives you saved. X

NHS must learn a lot and improve access to diagnostics to EVERYONE who has got ANY symptoms related to digestive system. Access to diagnostics is extremely restricted and far behind with European standards! Deborah lived 5 years because she paid for colonoscopy herself since the doctors laughed at her she might have a bowel cancer. Colonoscopy is nearly never offered in the UK and that's the ONLY test to exclude or confirm colon cancer. Other tests are useless. Blood test, FIT, per rectum tests... they all can be fine and you still might have the colon cancer (that was the case of my uncle, he just went to do the colonoscopy because his daughter advised him to get checked). No symptom should be ignored and the colonoscopy which is done early can PREVENT cancer. If there is a polyp it is cut out so it does not turn into cancer. The cancer does not appear from nowhere. It takes years for a lesion like a polyp to transform into cancer. NHS focuses more on cancer treament once you have the late stage of colon cancer (when your blood test is really bad and you have a low level of iron), not to prevent it.

You think her fear is any less? Her physical pain any less? You don't think she would trade all her lovely belongings to watch her children reach adulthood or live to collect her Old Age Pension?
@katcampbell9213
@katcampbell9213 2 жыл бұрын
I thought the exact same. She is very well to do and her beautiful big garden that she is spending her last days in looks like such an oasis. She is blessed in that respect but without her life she cannot enjoy any of it. I think her house is in Barnes in London which is a very affluent area so she has been able to be ill in comfort/luxury and not a crummy studio flat with no money. The financial freedom in which she has lived will also of helped her to have the possibility of producing podcasts, having equipment etc and gaining media contacts amongst ppl within her class. She’s used it to her best ability though and raised millions for cancer research and she seems such a lovely lady. It is incredibly sad that she leaves behind her son and daughter and husband and her mum so young. Cancer is so scary in that sense that it does not discriminate and will come for one in two of us 😳 no matter our life situation beforehand 😣

@@annalucinda8273 did not say her pain is any different to a poor person they are your words not mine .I meant that money makes her situation more bearable in luxury surroundings and her family will want for nothing financially which some people won't experience in their illness. Money can't buy health obviously but I'm sure terminally ill people would love for their loved ones to be financially taken care off when they pass which isn't always the case.

If you recite the following prayer 400 or 2000 times, all your illnesses will be cured by the grace of Allah (all glory and praise be to Him). "O Allah, send prayers, peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, the medicine of hearts and their treatment, the soundness of bodies and their cure, the light of vision and its illumination, the spirit of all spirits and the secret of their endurance."
