The big drawback of touchscreens is that when they go wrong (which physical knobs hardly ever do) all the functions which depend on them are either lost or sporadic, repair is hardly ever recommended, and replacement is hugely expensive.

I ordered one in Melbourne red (with black rims and mirrors) without seeing it live in this colour. Thanks for reassuring me that it was a good choice ;-) I kind of bet everything on one horse with the red paint, but there's way too many of them in grey, black and white.

Great cars. I have a 320i saloon, but having issues with the drive (affects suspension and braking) that no one can find the issue to. Driving me mad.

You forgot to mention that there CarPlay maps also appear on the driver screen. Best integration of CarPlay yet (along with Polestar).

How did you get the DAB logos? I have the pre-LCI with iDrive 7 and get only a couple of logos! I love seeing the proper station artwork.

How adaptive suspension works in LCI? I heard there is no button or option to turn it on, it is automatic. I test driven 3 with sport suspension and it was way to hard for me.

That screen looks like an afterthought, pre LCI is much more integrated 👎
