I'm happy you made to 48. I don't think I will... Turner sucks, big time. I'm 24, and I have been depressed ever since the age of 10 (I was diagnosed at 5, but at that age I didn't have the mental capacity to understand what's going on). Hate myself everyday. Hate the shortness. Hate being neither male, nor really properly female. Hate the thyroid condition. Hate the psoriasis. Hate the swollen legs. Hate having to fucking estrogen...

@@user-cv8ui5ir2d I have Turner’s syndrome too,.. I always have to take birth control to regulate hormones and stuff,.. However,… Turner’s syndrome is genetically female,.. you’re still biologically and genetically a female you’re just missing the X chromosome but you are still a female or you wouldn’t have it because only a female can have it,. I have not particularly had thyroid problems that i knew of, but other than taking growth hormones and birth control, having learning disabilities, etc,.. I am now turning 23 and thriving perfectly fine and perusing my college degree and career as an audiologist,.. You got this and you can do anythingyou set your mind too!! Please take care of yourself!! I would say the only thing that i even face now is the fact that i can’t have kids.., i promise you will be able to do anything you ever want, if you ever need to talk im always hear for you

I would say, yes. Because, with the mosaic variation, only certain cells in the body are missing the second sex chromosome. With the classic one, all cell have only one chromosome in them. @@ldee4127

​@@The_Great_Humanit's not a disease. I suppose you know that human females have XX chromosomes while the males have XY. If the chromosomes don't separate properly during segregation (during cell division) it leads to gain/loss of a set of chromosomes. In the case of Turner's syndrome,one X chromosome is lost from the cell. Therefore,it is usually said that the females with this syndrome are not 'feminine'. They are also sterile (can't reproduce)

I am stubborn too, and want to do things in my own way? Hahaha, of course. But, I really recommend you get professional help, because you can have something more than Turner, is possible, like autism, I don't know, but if the correct treatment she can get better. I always was different, but my mom refused to treat me like someone with down and didn't let anyone treat me like that, when she discovered the Turner syndrome she had a shock, but even then she always believed in my potential.

I am angry. But angry at NOT being fucking normal. I look at myself in the mirror and all I see is a monster. I look feminine, but I know all well that I'm neither male, nor properly female. Suffer from a major case of Napoleonic complex. I feel emotions easily, but feel ashamed for it. I feel like I got screwed over by those deleted chromosomes. Wish I had never been born. My mom doesn't understand either. But then again - she didn't have to go through growth hormone shorts every day for years, she's not super short, she produces estrogen, she has fucking boobs, she wasn't bullied because of her shortness, she didn't grow up hating herself and the world around her...

People with Turner's syndrome are sterile.They won't get periods.

I have Turner’s syndrome but all I could say is you need a karyotype to know,. Some people also have no symptoms and don’t know until later, although I’ll say, you are extremely underweight and that might have effected your growth

Basically, we have 45 chromosomes, not 46 like the other people. The other people have XX for girl and XY for boys, but, in Turner's syndrome we have just one X, so, we are all girls, the classic Turner lost completely the last X. Sorry if my English get weird, Brazilian here. And yes, I have Turner syndrome too. The classic one as the girl in the video.

The only case (syndrome) in humans where a baby can actually survive being born with only one sex chromosome. Most Turner's fetuses get aborted or are miscarried.

@@fabianifigueira I also have classical TS. I think TS, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Cri du chat Syndrome get aborted often. I do think TS is a very serious condition. C'mon, like take our medications away - and no puberty, only brittle bones, old skin, scoliosis, and early menopause. I wish I never had TS.
