I love House B. It's just my husband and myself and we love an open floor plan with large kitchen and seating area for guests. Done having main dining rooms. Love how Plan B is in with the living area and kitchen. Just a well designed plan.

That Savoy floorplan in bridgeland is the best floorplan in Houston in my opinion! We were contemplating moving there if the commute downtown to work wasn’t so far. It’s honestly an amazing house!

I love both houses. But I wish they are in a different state. We can afford the house but not the real estate tax. $18k-$22k is too high for us seniors. Thanks

Everytime JoJo opens those sliding patio windows, and having been a Houston resident, all I see is an attack swarm of mosquitoes, other bugs and humidity entering to kill me. That thing is going to stay closed 95% of the year for me. lol. Serious question : do people that get those vaulted ceilings and/or a plan with giant windows everywhere regret it when it comes time to heating and cooling bills? My needs are less than 3000 sq. ft., but it's nice to know TriPointe does allow for at least some modifications.

you guys should show people what rooms are the best for tornado shelter, the most inside room on the bottom floor. sometimes it is a closet. In our texarkana home it was actually the hallway full bath because it was surrounded by the hallway on one side, bedrooms on the side and one of the bedrooms big giant closets behind the tub in that bathroom.

It’s so misleading to look at model homes like this bc not only do they come souped up with upgrades that the original floorplan won’t contain but they are super decked out from some of the best interior designers. From the paint detail on accented walls, to high end multi-shelved decor pieces, to elegant sofas, dressers, mirrors and beds. My guess to deck a house out like that is easily another 50-75K in expenses. Is that fair to say?

Like them both, but leaning more toward House B. BUTTT! neither one had a coat/outerwear closet near the entrance. I'm trying to figure out how I would make an area at the entrance to remove shoes - a must for me; no shoes worn in the house ever and outwear must be taken off at the door.

The only problem is American houses are built like paper planes. Why are Americans building the frame of homes with wood? And why are all the walls hollow? No insulation. You can hear people walking above you, you can hear people in the other rooms. It's crazy how this is the standard
