I BUILT THIS ROOM THAT I NOW GET TO DECORATE AND LIVE IN? It doesn’t feel real. It feels so incredible to lay down in a fully completed bedroom renovation in my trailer #tinyhome. This renovation has not gone according to “plan” but it all kinda makes sense as to why I’m wrapping it up now. Finding my personal interior decor style has been so damn fun! It’s like Rachel for the last two years who’s thrifted all the things knew this Rachel would make it work.

Rach, Video idea: I know you're moving into the trailer to makeover your house... I'd love an "idea walk through" video, where you talk us through the current ideas you have for your main house makeover. It might be an easier video for you to film? Where you don't do any decorating or clean up. Cause I'd love to see WHY a space isn't working for you... And what you want to do differently. And it could be a really cool starting off point for the rest of us to understand where your head is at -hand totally okay if your mind / ideas /or budget change along the way.

The rug on the wall was just perfect. I did the same thing behind my bed as a headboard. People underestimate how much textiles can do for decor especially in small spaces. The trailer is coming along so nicely.

The accent wall is BEAUTIFUL! The trim is perfect and I can almost imagine old Rachel trying to tuck in the raw edges or just leaving them as is. The finishes show growth & thoughtfulness.❤

I love the rug, it’s like a tapestry but better. The creative process is so healing, I feel so much better when I’m in my creative space. When people visit they should feel you in the space and the creative energy you bing to the home, m loving this journey. Never mind waiting to see what amazing thing you do next.

The under bed nook has always been my favourite, especially when the strip lights are lit, but carrying on that theme to the accent wall is just everything. The thrifted cabinet is also such an awesome little piece, it compliments the framed windows and linen so well. I adore the look of having something on the walls around a bed, but can't bring myself to do it in my own home. My uncle lost his front teeth from having a pot plant fall on him while sleeping (didn't screw into a stud) - it ruined it for me. Put simply though, the bedroom is gorgeous, yet so inviting. I can absolutely picture one retreating to the little oasis, stretching out on the bed with a book, and just basking in the desert sun cascading through the window. You're really bringing this tiny home to life!

12:20 In terms of what to hang on your “bedside table” I’d go for a sleep mask, a hair bonnet, bookmarks, a little plant, a pen. In the cupboard put a bottle of water, a journal and the tv remote.

Have you thought about making a stand alone circular roof over the trailer. It will give you the waterproofing your looking for and also can give you the rustic beauty to your land.. That way you can put more roof coating and have that extra coverage for the trailer during the rain season.

You should use the offcuts from the rug and attach it on the lift up flap the tv comes out of next to the bed. You could add some small frame trim around the edge for detail

I LOVE the rug and mirror combo, and with the shelf..... it is EVERYTHING!!!!! It didn't take you a long time, it took you all the time you needed to heal as a woman. There is no set time on how long it takes for someone to heal, and the feelings that come with it are intense physically and mentally. No one can dictate your personal response to anything. Try not to be hard on yourself, progress is progress no matter how big or small. We are proud of you, and always have been.

Gurl the wall with the rug and mirror. Epic! the room looks soooo Rachel. Only thing that may be an issue is the items at the floor by the bed. You may kick the items, or if the dogs jump on the bed, they may kick it as well. Perhaps they would be safer under the mirror. Or remove so e of the items on one side. Also, see what the power of positive vibes can do for an individual. Keep on keeping on in your own way. With love and positive vibes always.
