Day In The Life Of A Homeschool Mom - Our Day Off || Parenting Down Syndrome - Is She Sick?
Today I captured our homeschool life, as a mom, while not homeschooling. Yes it was our day off. And like most Moms, I was still working as a Mom... on my day off.
Naomi, my daughter with Down Syndrome, also has a puffy red eye that concerns me. Is She Sick? It's worse than allergies and I will continue to watch and wait.
It is also the first day of Passover, that is why we took it off. We prepared for an at home Seder with our close friends on zoom.
Hope you enjoy this day off homeschool, Day in the Life of a Homeschool Mom.

We cooked lamb on this Passover weekend also. I found it eerie that we are shut up in our houses as the plague is passing by at this time...

Yeah, it’s made Passover feel a little different. I kept wondering if Elijah would come to our door, but Eric said it would break the Safe at home rules.

So fun to have a day off of school eventhough they ended up watching educational videos anyways lol. We have been videochatting with family and friends, and my kindergartner has had online schooling which has kept us busy during the week. Even though we can't have our normal schedule right now, we have been enjoying more time together as a family. I hope that her eye got better so you don't have to go to the doctor.

Thanks so much! We didn’t go to the doctor, I like to wait it out most of the time. It might have been allergies, or food, I don’t know. But today it’s fine. I think that is awesome that you guys are video chatting with family. Thank God for video chat or I don’t know what we would do!

I hope the baby’s eye is doing better! Our niece gets bumps on her eye usually when the seasons change and my sister in law uses a natural cream.

Thank you so much! It’s been off and on and today it was pretty much gone. Sometimes wonder if it was allergies.

It’s doing better, it’s going in and out. Seriously when I do the cream it goes down. I am wondering if it’s related to food, because when I give her dairy she gets a rash and she had cheese this week.

I’m not a fan of lamb either. I’m also gluten and lactose intolerant, most of the time.

Actually neither were my kids. My husband was the only one who liked it. Naomi gets constipated with gluten and breaks out in a rash with dairy. 😞

Living With Eve aw that’s too bad! I get gluten flu, and runny restroom trips with too much gluten/dairy so that’s why I try to stay away from it! 😊
