These series of interviews, with our amazing Brighton Beach Buskers, was filmed with one unique camera and budget equipment. It may not be perfect, has few mistakes but... it`s done! I`ve learned so much doing it and really hope you`ll all enjoy.
I remember very well when, before even asking, I saw in one of ARP`s videos him saying that, he wanted to get out of his "Comfort Zone" and talk to people. So, he did! Thank You So Much ARP for accepting the challenge, coming on board and being part of this incredible journey.

I adored this interview. I have recently just discovered Liv's music via a song she played with Ren. She is such a lovely individual and her talent is immense. When she talks of improvising her songs, rather than rehearsing them, she reminded me so much of myself and my old songwriting partner ( I have been a songwriter since I was a teenager ... I am 62 now ) We were basically a duo who employed a host of other local musicians. They all learned our songs via demo recordings and we would piece together a team for each gig from a huge squad of amazing individuals. Every gig had its own unique flavour. Although we played the same set of songs, because of the ever changing line ups, we found new life was continuously breathed into them ... as well as never having to cancel a show because one member couldn't make it on the night. Liv is totally correct ; BUSKING is THE truest form of musical expression and every musician should busk now and then, regardless of their status or " fame " . I also love how Liv recognises that music is an inclusive art form. As my dear friend Martin Stephenson ( of Daintees fame ) says : " A stage is just a platform shoe for a short man " :-) - Music, as with every creative art form, is a universal language ... and Liv totally gets that. YES Liv :-) Music should be Total FREEDOM of expression. I am so grateful to have stumbled across Liv's music. She is great ! 🙏

I actually have a huge love of hats and the greatest milliner I know, Jill Corbett ( who makes all my favourite hats ) lives and works from her shop THE HATTIC in Brighton. Outstanding works of art. 🙏

I heard her say “put some seagulls in the background” and my brain immediately went “KAW KAW”…which is what me and my lady do. We kaw kaw each other, mostly as a greeting, it’s great. Ps - From morehead city nc, grew up on the beach and only seems natural now hearing gulls my whole life. So kaw kaw that shit up and smile.

love Liv's idea of a dedicated spot (on the beach) for the buskers to meet and perform. just figure the amazing collaborations that'd come out of this!! does anybody know if such thing happened? I'm not from Brighton, but what I've seen here on YT makes me want to visit this summer (2024) and experience all these great musicians in RL and support them as much as I can!
