Liyoki, un gorille à dos argenté, vit paisiblement avec sa famille lorsqu’ils se font attaquer par des braconniers. Blessé par balle, Liyoki a un choix à faire : assouvir sa vengeance ou sauver son dernier enfant, Kitoko.
Liyoki, a silverback gorilla, lives peacefully with his family, when they are attacked by poachers. Wounded by a bullet, Liyoki has a choice to make : unleashing his vengeance, or saving his last child, Kitoko.

Love how he prioritized the safety of the young gorilla rather than going apeshit crazy and attacking the men with guns. Intelligence, compassion and fear of family safety all displayed within seconds. Amazing short film!

Man, could I ever feel that anger in those flashes of red rage, wide open baring teeth growling, and music magnifying the heartfelt loss of his family.

Merci pour ce beau film! J’ai ressenti la rage, le désespoir, l’amour, la peur, l’instinct de survie, le sens de la famille, chez ce Gorille, et l’humanité qui manque chez ces tueurs de faune sauvage. Bravo!!! 💜💜

Я люблю горилл. Они восхитительные. Самое печальное, что это происходит на самом деле. Гориллы добрые и нежные гиганты, они очень умные. Отцы пойдут на все, чтобы защитить свою семью. Отцы всегда берут под свою опеку сирот. Жалко и горилл, и людей, живущих там: бедность и войны толкают их на убийства этих чудесных созданий. Их осталось так мало... Спасибо за это видео.
