Just can't believe that Bobby died 10 years ago, I never meet him/them, unfortunately, but I'm sobbing. I just discovered them, and love them all, and he is so special with his unique dancing. So, So sad that he died so young and in such poverty. I must remember him with his great singing, smiling and dancing.

So sad to hear Bobby died in Poverty, I didn't know that, after all he was a huge talent with his dynamic dancing but I did read he didn't sing but who cares about that he was a class act on stage. I still feel sad he's no longer here.

no, he didn't die in poverty nol. on the night of the incident he had shou marked. I wish I had his money. He was finished because he didn't take care of his health. research people his life that you will see. And he sang yes. This is speaking of the envious.

I have followed music since 1957 ....living in the Midwest USA, Boney M, music was never played...I have only discovered their fantastic music And legacy in the last year (it is May 2021 now)....I feel I have been deprived...their music is happy, upbeat about life, meaningful....Boney M you Have a new, loyal fan........

Rest in peace Bobby Farrell. I grew up with Boney M and their music will always play a role in my life. I even have some of their songs on my phone's music Playlist. Boney M will always rock. Much love and respect.

@@florintancu9352 On the concerts where they sang live (most of them) it was his own voice. But the studio voice, yes that was their producer. Frank Farian was a fantastic producer but as a human being not so much I'm afraid..

This is March 2024 & we still grieve the untimely departure of BOBBY FARRELL. This lively, dynamic, loveable and incredibly fascinating performer had deteriorating health issues in his last few years. Actually, the band functioned around this funny yet absolutely amazing, awesome, appreciable and astounding personality. YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. 😢😢😢

It's like they're manufacturing Motherless Children for their amusement! drumpf had a tiff with the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles in 1989 where they wanted to build a HIGH SCHOOL! Being near illiterat himself....go figure the not suprise and the jerk claiming he predicted this election when we KNEW he had his eye on the prize...since the late 70s! The other headlins on that page are interesting. The surprise for me is that he was Buddhist! I was raised Roman Catholic and became a Reiki Master in 1999 when Daddy became a Grand Knight. We understood each other VERY well. As systems analyst Navy vet who came out of Korea screaming, "I ain't birthin' NO MO BABIES!" I followed the legacy for education, communication for #STEM....which they were holding back. The Board of Education in Prince George's County, Maryland (Outside Washington DC) used a bad method of saying kids shouldn't learn other languages when they're young, when it's backwards. Kids should learn as many as they can handle! Patois is a cornerstone language. Boney M were such a great group. In the 1970's the Supergroups were; Boney M, ABBA, Bee Gees, The Jackson's, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Carpenters and Queen. The 1970's were the decade of the super groups, and Boney M were up there with the best, the very best.😊

Estou impressionado em conhecer Boney M. carisma e talento bem expressivo nas apresentações. Eu conheci na semana passada viajando na Internet e descobri que esse grupo desbancou ABBA que época enlouquecia as discotecas no mundo todo e aqui no Brasil. A história da "farsa" de que Bobby Farrell não cantava, isso foi provado que mesmo não contando no início, ele provou que também tinha talento e logo depois passou a se apresentar também cantando com o grupo. É impecável as coreografias de Farrell, que com certeza estimulou toda uma geração para dançar. Digo a nossa eterna cantora do rebolado Gretchen, que dá para perceber que ela deve ter se inspirado em alguns passos do lendário Farrell. E o mais impressionante, que Farrel se apresentou até 2010, quando soubemos da morte dele. As meninas ainda estão se apresentando com o maior sucesso sozinhas. Eu gostaria de saber se eles vieram aqui no Brasil, pois pesquisei e não encontrei registros de shows deles aqui em solo brasileiro. E também, será que os sobreviventes do grupo Marcia Barrett, Liz Mitchell, Maizie Williams um dia poderão se reunir? Que pena que nos anos 70 eu estava nascendo e não pude viver os momentos de sucesso do grupo Boney M. Parabéns para as meninas, e que elas estejam bem e ainda curtindo o grande sucesso dos anos 70 e ainda nos dias atuais.
