If anything you should be blaming Cameron for creating the conditions that allowed Truss to get her into the position she found herself in. Also the PCP for putting her forward instead of Mordaunt to the membership, because (as I suspect) they thought Sunak would stand a better chance against her.

Ah but you see her "Budget" wasn't a "Budget", it was (as she insisted at the time) a "Fiscal Statement". Why? Because then she didn't have to submit it to prior scrutiny as she would have to do if it had been a "Budget". Even so, she was expressly warned that her "Fiscal Statement" didn't make financial sense and of it's likely effects. Now however she's calling it a "Budget"... Could the lady please make up her mind (should she ever find it)?
