Liza I was going through KZfaq 5/11/2024. I have loved you as a singer and actress. From time for years old I'm now 72. When I first saw you I think it was you singing . That Saturday and I had my hair cut . I went straight to Gibson store and bought black hair cut. I have always admired you as everything you were and are. And it holds true to this day. But as for my hair I haven't worn black for sometime. My hair has been many colors through the years. LOL But now it's turning silver I keep it that way. Keep being you keep telling it like you have all these years. And your will stay in my Top 5 There you, Lucille Ball, and Carol Burnett , Natalie Woods, and Judy Garland. 💜🩷💚🧡💛

@michellestreater3296 What I was referring to was Liza's character. She is the only person I have Never heard that 'oh poor me, mom was a star with no time but plenty of men' crap. She is also the first to defend her mother's drug/alchohol recoveries instead of crying about how 'if mom didn't, life would be awesome' . I am afraid my memory wouldn't be so kind.
@user-hx6ye4jq1n7 ай бұрын
@@michellestreater3296there's a documentary about Debbie Reynolds & Carrie Fisher. Carrie's brother was the producer. Carrie & Debbie lived in houses that were on the same property and were very close. Carrie had a quick and quirky sense of humor and was very open about her struggles with substance abuse and mental illness. Debbie was starting to have health issues due to her age and a little bit of memory problems. When she'd get a little off track when she was being interviewed, Carrie was able to get her back on track. Debbie Reynolds was a movie star in the golden age of Hollywood, with a big personality. It could've been hard growing up with her, but I saw nothing but love between them in that documentary. Carrie was a very funny and talented actress, and an extremely talented writer & script doctor. I firmly believe that Debbie died of a broken heart when she had her final stroke when she & her son came home from making Carrie's funeral arrangements

Ah Bob Wellings. I was his producer at the end of his career at Sky News. Sometime in the 90s. He was a lovely man. Always a little bemused by the big stories. Despite that his ability to ask the kind of questions which got the most compelling answers was a real skill. He died in 2022.
