Zhou Shen was not with his full power that day. He was not feeling well but didn't affect his high quality.

Yes at this performance he was recovering from a cold but still did a good job, you might want to try out his STAR FISH which played at the recent Winter Olympic

Welcome you to the big family of Zhou Shen's fans. Hope to see more of your reactions over Zhou Shen. The clip you reacted was from the live broadcasting event at the new year celebrations party for the year 2021. He could not turn down the opportunity to cooperate with the famous Chinese conductor Zhao Zhao (赵兆) and the amazing orchestra although was still recovering from a flu at the time. Zhou Shen did a great job at the live stage performance as you can see.

Zhou Shen is a very talented artist and apparently was Ill during the song from what I hear. Nonetheless, the performance was phenomenal. There's another artist I've heard do this song several times that is definitely worth a mention and a listen.
