Even though I love Lizzie as a person, it was evident Tommy truly loved grace all along and no one could replace their love for each other.

Stephen king said they got rid of grace, because Tommy was not supposed to be happy. That pretty much sums up everything, Grace was his true love and happiness.

Different kinds of love for each. He was smitten with Grace from the moment he saw her at The Garrison. He fell deeper every time they interacted and by the time he went to her lodgings, his heart was hers. Lizzie gave her body to him for two years and he wasn't in love with her, although he liked her well enough. She was incorporated into the company to lift her up, and because she already knew them all and their business. She was loyal, tough in her own way, and she was in love with Tommy. It's sad that none of the significant relationships (I'm including May) had happy endings, but life is hard and Thomas Shelby didn't want a simple life 😊xx

Grace and Tommy had a love story,, they had the ups and downs that they overcame to prove their unconditional love,, they both made mistakes in their relationship,, but at the end of the day they were happy TOGETHER,, He still keeps her photos and belongings in their house bc he still loves her,, he hallucinates her bc he feels the guilt of having someone he loved so much die,, their love had depth what exactly do Lizzie and Tommy have?? their love story (not that you can call it that),, is based purely off of the fact that he got her knocked up,, even Lizzie admitted when she told him she was pregnant that the baby was concieved while he was imagining her as someone else,, shes a great best friend with benifits for tom,, but not the Love of His Life

I never connected with Grace, I didn't even realize the moment Tommy fell in love with her, it was just so fast, also Lizzie is a person with scenes so short you can count on your fingers and yet I still feel so hooked on her. history, what Lizzie represents and when she has evolved, I really wish that everyone will appreciate her more and that if Tommy does not value her someone else will come for her

Grace gave up everything to be with Tommy, how can anyone say she didn’t? She gave up her life, her morals, her reputation, everything. She knew who and what he was and she loved him regardless. Lizzie was always in love with him and she fell pregnant at a very volatile time for him. Of course he loved Ruby but he’s HORRIFIED when Lizzie falls pregnant. Compare that to when he found out Grace was pregnant and it’s like the world stops turning. He fought everything his family, society, her family to be with Grace and marry her. He married Lizzie because it was the right thing to do, he didn't want to. It’s not a contest both Lizzie and Grace were incredibly different people who provided incredibly different supports but you cannot for a moment argue that Grace wasn’t the absolute love of his life that for the first time made him want to be a better man. He was destroyed after she died and never ever recovered. Lizzie deserved someone who loved her FOR HER not for what she provided.

I prefer Lizzie as a person because Grace never truly understood his gangster side and she betrayed him, BUT grace is easily the best person for Tommy because he truly loved her and she kept him grounded.

Grace! They had interesting story. Grace has class, intellegent, smart, brave, determinate. And the different feeling that Tommy had with them. With Grace he didn’t hear noises, she was like cure for him. With Lizzie he became less sensitive, never smile, never tender. We in general haven’t seen him the same after Grace’s death.

It's sad that so many fans refuse to acknowledge how much Lizzie meant to Tommy. Everyone makes it seem like Grace was so much better, but honestly, she just didn't live long enough to prove it. Lizzie was with him from the beginning. He didn't make things easy for her and she supported him through the most difficult times in his life. I don't understand why there is so much violence against her. and in the end he confessed that he loved her, and he recognized the true woman she was!

Lizzie love tommy for who he was and Grace loved tommy for who she though he could be. Lizzie’s love was unconditional but Grace always came with conditions and ultimatums.

As what i have observed tommy was at his best when he was with grace. He was so inlove.I think when grace died ..That was the last turning point for him..He felt dead inside.. Lizzie is great but Tommy was totally messed up during their romance.i pity Lizzie though..

If you watch closely and just be objective, crystal clear Tommy was in love with Grace. They were equals. They were both in love. It is not one sided nor forced. They werent supposed to fall but they did. They were flawed individuals but they loved each other. Just different uniforms but the same. The tiny details of his smiles, his softness, his gestures, his back hugs, his wanting to change for the better, his respect to her, listens to her, etc...only with her. Some see it as a weakness but no. This was tommy before the war. Grace made his heart beat again. Then she took it when she died and nobody can mend it or replace it, ever. He may love again, in his standard of course but the true , soulmate and natural love? only with Grace.

Ah Grace la tuvieron que matar porque tenía mucho poder en Tommy si ella quería que se volviera granjero el lo iba hacer y Polly sabia eso por lo mismo nunca le llego a gustar ella para Tommy. Y Lizzie era más un perrito faldero que se conformaba con ser la segunda y que su rival sea alguien que ya estaba muerto osea como ella lucha contra eso ella sabia que Tommy no la quería pero quiso vivir con ello. Lizzie was a strong woman that Thomas, a 'gangster' needs. I know that grace has a perfect fairy side but that isn't ment for a gangster. Lizzie stood up for family and she was also loved by aunt Polly. Grace may be a fairy or a dream to achieve, but we need a fuking strong woman like Lizzie.

Grace is a queen..The perfect woman for Tommy. She was just as intelligent as him, she valued herself a lot and respected herself, she wasn't afraid of anything or anyone, and she didn't let anyone disrespect her. Lizzie is the complete opposite, all she did in 6 seasons is beg Tommy to love her and wait when he wants to sleep with her. She had no respect for herself.

Grace obviously, Thomas loved Grace and never loved Lizzie, Lizzie deserves better. I liked Lizzie until they got her married to Thomas because of child. Individually Lizzie is dope but Grace and Thomas hits different. Though they had less time together, but Thomas was never that happy.. the last line where he says fuck everyone he needed him was enough... Before she died. But they were epic❤. She was all he wanted

Según yo, grace es importante e irrplasable ese primer amor pero lizzie ha estado en las buenas y en las mala, recorrieron un camino de mierda juntos que los hace la pareja más perfecta en toda la serie (obvio con la toxicidad de las costumbres de la época) pero definitivamente lizzie es la mujer que tommy necesita a su lado.
