Lizzo couldn’t have came out with a song at a better time!! I’ve been really going through it lately and this song has inspired me so much it’s crazy. She makes music that makes me feel good about myself. What makes it better is, I see a woman who looks like me being her, which made me want to be me even more. Thank you LIZZO! I’ll see you in October!!

@@bsame Not the person you asked, but PDM basically took it from the funk style it was originally produced in and moved it into the nu-disco/house style. He sped it up a bit, switched a lot of the electric and acoustic instrumentation to electronic, dropped the flute and sprinkled in some signature flair. PDM remixes are typically subtle, he never wants to take away from the original, he just gives them his own spin. See others like his Dua Lipa Don't Start Now and Lady Gaga/Ariana Grande Rain On Me remixes. He's at a point now where they're asking that he do this, which is fantastic.

This remix just won a Grammy it's ok. He beat out my colleague Terry Hunters remix of Break My Soul seems to have more work put into it. This just sounds like he speeded up the pitch and added some more old school.disco sounds. It sounds very close to the original but Congrats to him

I love Lizzo and this fantastic remix. Does anyone else think that it is reminiscent of two other dance tunes from the past: : Cathy Dennis' version of "All Night Long" or Sophie Ellis Bextor's Murder On the Dancefloor?" They were also great dance mixes :)

During an interview with Howard Stern, Lizzo said she didn't like this song and was pressured by the record producers to record it. The Stern interview includes Lizzo playing the flute with this song. Her ability to play the flute makes this song very special to all flute players.
