It's a work of art, but not necessary these days with PDM modules that replace 90% of that. It would look like a well used , torn up rats nest if I attempted anything like that.

I hear ya. IMO though, PDM modules are like Apple products, or a crate motor..….”THEY decide what YOU get.” I can appreciate the clean/hidden look of an all-in-1 too, it’s just not my style. When I see a relay panel as organized as this one, I know the pride (and creativity) that was taken by whoever built it. Much the same when I see the plumbing of a nitrous motor with more kits than I can count 😳. I’m a little old school though, so I’ll admit, I might need an “update” haha.

I too spent many of Wednesday night at E-town watching the grudge races between Pat Musi and Vinny Budano. Popeye was a bad ass car. I think Lizzy should paint her new ride the same colour green. Legendary stuff there.

My Dad and Uncle raced Pat back in the 70s in Bama many times and the style Lizzy drives is identical to Pat, Half track wheelies under full power and never let off,You can't teach that it's in the bloodlines lol... Chip off the ole block, Just better looking lol...The new car is gonna be hard to beat...

Pat was a hell of driver and made ridiculous power even back in the 70s, Places like Lasitor mountain were tiny one lane road tracks to, It was not like today's tracks are, Now one lanes bigger than both lanes we're back then lol... You had to more than just a Good driver you had to have guts! Cars bumped doors more than once in a run and never let off lol.. it was different back then but I do see Pat's skills in his Daughter, She had a good teacher but Guts your born with!

@@TheMetalhead1966 I remember the name but can't place the car, Mainly went to local tracks like Winston County Dead Strip, Had a ton of heavyweights come through Bama, Hugh Scott and Scotty Canon were Regulars at the track if a big event was not going on, Wallace Barton and Ralph Clanton were home time track guys that could give the best a run for their money, It's these small tracks that made them great, If you could run two cars on these one lane roads you could run anywheres lol... It was a hell of a childhood coming up...

We both had a great childhood, we ran in Rockingham N. C and of course gainsville. I was just 11 yrs old the funny cars and the dragsters shooting flames 4 ft high ground shaking, would have me scared to death! Lol loved it. Now it's big big money to be a contender on the track.

Yeah I seen that also. That car is gonna be very fast it looked like to me Lizzy let off the throttle right at 4 seconds and also I watched the win light come on right at 4 seconds. Lzzy's car was also very consistent in them test runs

IF there were ANY slightly negative comment I might make is Lizzy finding the handle for the chute. She misses it every lap. I and you all know she'll get the muscle memory dialed in so she never misses it but that'll take time and laps. You also know Pat is looking at these videos and he's concerned. One way or the other she'll be hitting that handle EVERY time, no misses!

This is awesome. Lizzy is the real deal and well her dad has been doing this longer than many. That car ran like it was on rails and Lizzy drove the shit out of it. Only little glitch I see is that she is struggling to find the chute lever at the big end. Not once but all passes. I prefer a pull lever instead of push because its a more natural motion and have it mounted more forward overhead. Not an issue when things are going good but if they go bad you don't want to be searching for safety things. Purely an observation from and old man. But being safe got me to be an old man LOL.

liberty is no joke personally i think 6gears are better than 4. guess we will see who gets down the track first. prenup might be the show stopping surprise this season.

What’s the rule package for NPK? Does the car need to have a vin number to be considered street or can the car just have aftermarket steel roof quarters that are stock specific.

Go even further back to the early days of the NMCA and Pat's black and white Pro Street '55. he was setting the street racing scene on it's collective ass way back in the early to mid 80's and he's still doing it today.

Must just be the video. The 950 cid engine sounds alot more deeper of a tone than I've heard. This engine sounds more like how a 1500 cid engine might sound like if they made one.

Nitrous cars should have to run the same weight and cubic inch engine. As the prochargwd and turbo cars 400 extra cubic inches is crazy
