We love Llanddwyn Island. We’ve never managed to capture any squirrels either!!! You had a beautiful day for this trip. We’ve been cut off by the tide before - it was a thigh high paddle!!!! Fun though. Thanks for this lovely tour guys. Cheers 🍻

Amazing video, captures the beauty so well. I love llandwyn and Newborough forest. Never seen red squirrels there either. Seen them on Holy island tho. I'll be looking for the well next time I go, a first for me. The guy from Melin Llynon told me the first lighthouse was a windmill but I trawled a few historical documents and haven't anything so far, a mystery still. I do Love the rustic feel of the second one best. Never seen Puppa look as Happy, as there🐾🐶❤

Llandwyn is one of my favourite places ever, I like both light houses but the first one near to Pilots cove is my favourite, the light house keeper used to live in on the the cottages there, really enjoyed this video and you certainly had the weather on your side.

Llandwyn is one of the prettiest places I've ever visited! A Welsh friend took us there during our 2016 vacation, and we're still so thankful for that experience. It doesn't matter which way you look, every angle reveals a new picture postcard pretty place. Just stunning! Best regards from Belgium!

Wow, what a fantastic walking tour of Llanddwyn Island and Newborough Forest in Anglesey, North Wales! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and it's great to see Hay and Kyle showcasing the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the coast. I love how they're on the lookout for Red Squirrels in Newborough Forest and exploring the stunning Newborough Beach. And of course, the tidal island of Llanddwyn with its lighthouses is simply spectacular! Thank you for sharing this video and giving us a glimpse into the beauty of Anglesey.

I've lived on Anglesey for many years. The red squirrel population is growing. I was looking out of my window recently and saw one come running along the street then disappear into a neighbour's garden. This was in a suburban estate. They are elusive but keep your eyes open. You may see one anywhere on the island not just in heavily wooded areas. I've seen them cross the road while I was riding my bike and sadly about five years ago saw one that had been run over by a car.

We went there last summer. We saw the ponies that were on the island too. Tide came in while we were on island. Water was waist high and the dog had to swim for it on way back. We didn’t see a single sign for dogs not allowed on beach and there were loads of dogs on it.
@HayandKyle
@HayandKyle Жыл бұрын
Sounds like you had more of an adventure than we did then 😅 Glad you managed to get back regardless. The dog signage is usually up at high season only and allows dogs on the beach still, but only on one half. We've experienced this a lot on several beaches on the island over the years 🐶

Hi Kyle and Haley, great video, enjoyed all the scenic beauty. The Newborough Forest was really interesting with all the different type of Pine trees and the beautiful landscape. At the 5:33 to 5:36 marks on the video what type of squirrel was featured? It sure could have passed as a Red Squirrel in my eyes. Nice up close footage of it trying to eat that small pine cone. For Llanddwyn Island I would vote for the first Lighthouse as it seemed little more unique than the second. The second one seemed smaller but still interesting to see. With all the effort put into making this video, I would have to say I enjoyed both segments equally as they both had their strong points. On each video it is easy to see the closeness you two share. It is wonderful that Kyle recovered from his cancer scare so you two can explore and build your lives together.
@HayandKyle

Hi Ben, thanks for tuning in and your kind comments. Regarding the squirrels featured were not actually entirely certain 🤔 The footage for those was supplied by a stock company being as we never actually saw any ourselves 🙄 The first lighthouse we featured is classically the most popular, especially for photography. The entire island is beautiful to be honest, it's why we keep coming back 🤗 Kyle's actually been cancer free for 4 years today 🥳

Thx for making these videos. Wish KZfaq’s algorithm could get your channel more views for your genuine hard work. Just a thought, you should add some walking and talking as well like that Iceland video and not just stand in one spot to talk as it interrupts the flows of the video. Just my preference lol

Thanks for your feedback and kind words Den ✌️ We agree on your walking and talking comments, although we do those types of segments, Iceland asked it of us more so as we only have a very limited time at each spot. Taken on board for the future though, hope you have a great week ahead, cheers 👍
