As a far flung Welsh descendant in the middle of Canada, I had memories of my Grandfather singing this with me as a boy. I had no idea what he was saying, so he taught it to me in English, and I would sing along, but could always remember the chorus in Welsh. Many years later I was seeking this song and came across your version, and I sang along and cheered. Distant by a generation and vast ocean, I felt a connection. Thank you for your performance, and your time in reading this. I just wanted you to be aware of the reach of your voices and to be able to hear the standing ovation and applause you received in a familyroom, in the middle of Canada. Hats off, gents!

G'Day from Australia. I Ioved this performance and the 73% DNA Welsh/ Cymri ethnicity of my heart swelled with pride. It's great to see a man of the younger generation in the back row, too. I went to see the (state of Victoria, Australia) Welsh choir some years ago and they had a video screen behind the choir showing historical scenes from Welsh life. The whole experience was wonderful. I love that Wales/ Cymru is 'The Land Of Song'.

Recently discovered I'm 10% Welsh, had no idea their native tongue was so beautiful. This is the first song I've listened to of the Welsh people & my heart booms with love and pride. Despite the oppression and atrocities, despite the hate and racism, despite our history and culture going unnoticed, this is still our island and and WE ARE STILL HERE

@@superjohnnygamble6328 Johnny...my kinship with the Aboriginals is by adoption and proximity, not a common bloodline (genetic). So we are part of one Nation, but separate people from contrasting cultures. Some are mad, some are bad/broken, (as is the case with every ethnic/tribal group in the world, especially Poms and Kiwis 🤣) some are an inspiration and truly inspiring...e.g. Jacinta Price...Warren Mundine and a couple of my full blood mates. The rest is a mixed bag of contention, political grandstanding and fabricated dreams fueled by Marxist propaganda and deluded white academics with their snout in the funding trough.💰 Be careful with the🥺 deadly mob meme it also has a dark side. Most people claiming Aboriginality have as much kinship with aboriginal ancestry as they do with an Eskimo hunter or a Welsh shepherd.🤫 But yes, I will give your regards to my Aboriginal friends. 🦘...✌

The Llanelli choir covered “Sailing” by Rod Stewart, it’s absolutely wonderful, the original song by Rod was my parents wedding song. The cover by these gents was the song at my fathers funeral and the fact our family are from Llanelli made it even more special. Thank you and keep them coming.
