❤ This is the only way I can travel this highway, unless I can come back in another life. Its very beautiful. I love Bear being cuddly and seeking your comfort in the vehicle. Our Ben travels well as he was in a car from 8 weeks old. Usually just stretches out and sleeps, but unfortunately we couldn't leave him off lead as he would go exploring by himself. Enjoying this . X

I counter with the Crowsnest highway, in late 2021 the Coq was closed so those vehicles used hwy3, on average one person died a week with many non fatal crashes a week, week after week.

Alaska has those weather cameras through the passes where there is a lot of air travel and in bush towns as well. Pilots can use this as another safety measure. Always check the weather before venturing into the wilderness or flying anywhere in Alaska or Canada because the weather can change so quickly.

You must have sent magic dust my husband and I and yes the doggie sometime in the future, are going to plan a road trip for about 6 weeks and take a look at OZ land out side of Victoria, we will hire a van cheaper then going to Europe that will have to wait leaving Archie not that easy, he is too human lol Here one for the books my husband and daughter are off to Egypt on a tour in January ,I miss out I am the doggie sitter, I look at the said doggie doggie soup no never lol love Archie to bits he brings such a beautiful spirit into the home travel safe hugs to both from Melbourne xo

Our million-dollar highway in Colorado is much worse……landslides, snow, no guard rails & 1,000 feet drops Hwy. 550!

Just consider the safety of your beloved dog. Secure it for your own safety and for your dog's safety. It is not a pleasing and satisfying sight when a dog crashed through the windscreen in an accident. Just saying, it is up to you what to do with it...
