My dad has always looked down on me for being a gun owner. Last month he called me and wanted advice on accessories for his new pistol and wants info on AR's. Thats how I know the tide is changing. He was a 100% anti gunner and the bs politics changed his mind! Keep up the good work yall 2A strong💪

I'm all for term limits, Congress and Senate. But I'm ignorant of how to get that accomplished. How do you get term limits imposed? Do you have to appeal to your local Congressman and say, hey I would like you to introduce legislation that is going to put you out of a job in eight years? Who ya gonna call? Ghost Busters? Half the time they don't even show up. It's like they can say, ahh, I don't feel like going to work today. The shit they pull would get them fired from a civilian job in a day. And now with the Covid thing , they have more of an excuse to not show up. You could see this during the last impeachment hoax vote. Most of the votes were sent in to other Congress Critters to vote by proxy because they were too lazy to show up. How does a law like this get approved? Or even started? I know every one talks about wanting it, but it never goes farther than that.

Yeah I am getting tired of the "130lb woman" argument, the people in power don't give a crap about women so that argument is not going to work. People forget that the US has a history of firearms being a tool to tame the land and keep tyranny at bay. When anti-gunners bring up the argument of European firearms laws they don't realize that quite a few European countries did not have a history of civilian firearms ownership, which is why you see paintings of revolutions where the populace were breaking down the doors of a government building in front of armed military with pitchforks and torches.

In the 1950s it was more common to see a rifle or a shotgun in a kids locker than a backpack and most field trips were to the shooting range to practice marksmanship. Mass shootings were unheard of. Since 1950 nearly all mass shootings have occured in gun free zones. There are 5x more murders by knives than by rifles. From 2013 to 2015 the six states that passed gun control experienced increasing rates of police shootings and deaths. The U.S. has the highest gun ownership rate in the world and ranks 28th in gun murders. Over 80% of all mass shootings are done with handguns. There is a clear connection between higher rates of gun ownership and lower rates of both police involved shootings and crime. There are over three hundred million guns in the U.S.. According to the CDC there were 38,000 gun deaths in 2016 2/3 of which were suicides. Between 1993 and 2003 gun ownership went up by 56% while gun violence dropped by nearly half. There are roughly 3.8 million miles in the U.S. with close to 2 million miles being uninhabited and over 300 million guns. That is an average of nearly 160 guns per square mile. There are just under 93 residents per square mile in the U.S. When inmates were asked what the number one fear they had during the act of a crime it was that their victim may have a gun. They know are criminal justice system works by plea bargain. So they’ve got it all figured out already charge them with illegal transfer and plead it down to “illegal loan”.

My cousin who I won’t named used to be on the fence of guns like I don’t like them but you can have yours I’ll leave you alone but as last year went down hill he realized he needed self defense firepower cuz we saw police efforts crippled and criminals run the streets in our cities.
