The end of innocence, Tuomas in many of his songs describes the child who loses his innocence as he grows up, loses his home, his paradise, becomes an adult and as an adult makes decisions, makes mistakes and hurts, tries to heal the wounds and he believes that he will never succeed and while he is pessimistic, he leaves a small hope that he can overcome them. I agree that he wrote this song for Anette, it fits her voice perfectly and it's a shame it was never played live either. The acapella video, I saw it very recently for the first time and kudos to you Guylain for adding it to your show. I agree with your analysis and the connections to previous songs as well as future ones,he is the same poet after all. I like Emppu's solo on the verses and no in the chorus, very clever indeed. It's a pop rock song yes i agree, Anette says that her new band "the dark element"play pop metal a new genre of metal haha she is fantastic 😍 singer,i do love her. DPP have so beautiful songs for all the audience, heavy metal, symphonic metal, folk metal, beautiful ballads and have so many different emotions, for this reason i believe is the most well selling album still today. See you next Friday Guylain with another beautiful song which has live version and i love Tampere's version very much.

She is. Her voice also haunts me, hours after I listen to songs like this. Clear, bright tone. Innocence! What a beautiful voice!

Guylain, I found it so amazing that you connected the lines ´Living today without a way , To understand the weight of the world` to Tuomas later opening up to the more macro Endless forms most beautiful and Human Nature albums. It makes so much sense to me. Thank you very much once again :)

Thankyou Guylain for the breakdown of the lyrics Once my heart beat to the rhythm of the falling snow Blackened below, the river now flows A stream of molten virgin snow I think this means that although the heart is damaged, Renewed life, Pristine ( Virgin) using the River as a metaphor for life see the song Ghost River as Tuomas uses the River as meaning life is now flowing freely (Molten) Agree with Laudato Si, great connection with the later albums. Thought i would give you a heads up on a new album being released on the 14th October. I know you will be reacting to the Warning next as you said Which is great, But after the Warning if you have nothing planned Alter Bridge are releasing Pawns and Kings, The three singles released so far, Great music Great lyrics Just a thought if you have not other projects

Bonjour Guylain !
