Looks wierd without the tailgate badge IMO. A black GMC badge or keeping it bare, but colormatch the rear bumper would make it flow better I think.

I like it slick and debagged. Looks so much better now! Definitely better than it was. I debagged my 21 RST Silverado leaving the black bowtie and adding black letters to the tailgate and it looks great.

I have the silver '22 Diesel. Used plastidip on front and back GMC logos. The matte silver looks perfect with the shiny silver paint. Love it. Might remove my SLT logo but will have to leave the X31 tags. May remove the Sierra from the doors too. Thanks for the vid.

I tried to debadge my f150 and while I was recording it for my debadging video I came to the realization that I couldn’t remove the f150 badges on the corner panels. Well, without there being holes in the corner panel. I was so mad 😂

I debadged the sierra from my truck but only left the denali, i put the black gmc badge on the front as well as on the tailgate. It looked too plain on the tailgate without the gmc on there.

The truck looks sick! The back imo needs more chrome now tho. I don’t think they make hazy clears tails for the new model tho

I did the same thing with my 22’ GMC Elevation. Got rid of ugly 4X4 emblem and the Sierra letters off the tailgate. I hate it when manufacturers put those gaudy emblems all over my truck!

A hair dryer on high heat will take off badging real good. As a repairman on semi trucks I did that a lot for crooked or bad badges.

Looks great bro, you inspired me to atempt this look on my satin steel matalic 2021 GMC Sierra X31. It turned out amazing and I appreciate the video. Have you thought about using last fit licence plate lights and reverse lights? I just installed them in my truck and I'm so happy with how the install turned out, the reverse lights are like having headlights going backwards, no joke, I like them for Loading my bass boat at night and hooking my camper up at night. I would think for sixty thousand bucks GM would give led's all the way around but apparently they are too cheap😂.

I know you let it sit in the sun but a heat gun or even a blow dryer on high heat helps a ton for taking off badges

I’d put either the black GMC badge on tailgate or just the chrome Sierra letters. Other than that looks great, I like a little chrome with black. Truck looks really good man, I wouldn’t do too much more changes to it.

think the black gmc badge on the tailgate would bring out the chrome from the bumper, would help blend the chrome, if keeping the chrome on bumper, and different from the all black rigs, i dont have tailgate badging but my bumper is color matched, i blended white and chrome on my chevy crew

The front is not hard at all. Just did mine. It's 5 torx screws. One screw on each corner and one behind the M. You take the top radiator shroud off and use an extension to go through the shutters then the base comes off to allow access to clips on the badge

I’m taking all mine off my 01 soon. Only leaving small Chevrolet letters on bottom right of tailgate.

FYI - to remove the front emblems, remove the red emblem insert with a pry tool (they're trash anyway since you're replacing) and then use a flat head to remove the chrome base...then just snap in the black ones. No need to remove radiator cover, etc.

Quick tip man Heat gun and Fishing line will take it right off! Heat it up and than go with the fishing line! I debadged the tailgate where it has SLT and the dealers tag and removed Sierra from the doors and I personally like it my front/tailgate badges are black and I have a 2020 GMC Sierra so I think it looks much cleaner and slick but everyone has their opinion
