If they wanted Spencer to be the Father, they should’ve just made him the father. They should’ve never gave Trina a love interest if they didn’t truly want to explore the relationship. This whole storyline blows.

I totally agree with you. At this point I want Trina to run as far away from Spencer as possible. I'm getting over Sprina. Because face it, they aren't really a couple and I hope she doesn't sleep with him until they are if they are going to be.

Okay-Have we forgotten that Ace is his BABY BROTHER and Esmè is his Ex Girlfriend? Which means SHE SLEPT WITH HIS FATHER!! So excuse him if he isn’t falling all over Esmè like everybody else! It’s not even like this happened YEARS AGO PEOPLE!! Her even asking for FORGIVENESS is out of line to me and kind of suspect- I’m not mad at Spencer at all- Now do I think they are DRAGGING this story line? YES!!! I’m tired of it- I need something to happen- and I want to KNOW what Heather Webber wrote in that letter that she conveniently never told Laura about…

COME ON NOW! That's what I'm saying. Girl been out of jail two days, and people want Spencer to play nice with her...I'm tired of everyone kissing her butt. Let's get this Esme/Baby mama storyline over with. Esme told Laura that her mother said don't trust her or Spencer, but I don't know if that was in the letter.

You said everything I was thinking! Also, Spenser says everything I’m thinking! Her memory is gone but her general personality is the same. She maybe nice to her baby but everyone else…not so much. If she didn’t have Spenser or Laura she’d be living in a homeless shelter. Writers fix and bring back Nikolas and make this HIS problem!

The writers need to bring Nicholas back. It's his responsibility, not Spencer's, to deal with Esme and baby Ace.

I don’t know what it is with spencer prior to him finding out esme was pregnant he was busy with Trina he was jealous when she was with another man. Now he spends most his days chasing after esme and making sure she doesn’t take off with ace. If he doesn’t wake up fast him and Trina will never make it to actually being a couple how long can Trina hold on to hope with a situation like this.

Esme pulling the equivalency of asking for the manager by asking for Portia…at this point I’m assuming this redemption is a fake out bc she’s not doing anything to change. Just lots of denial and placing the blame on Ryan or “her old self”…Im genuinely curious to see if anyone is enjoying this storyline and why. Because it’s such a struggle for me.

@@NatRosen it’s dragging too 😩. I think they’ve had Spencer have the same conversation with Esme and Victor a dozen times. I can’t wait for sweeps. Looks like we’re gonna get some good stuff. But they can toss this baby stuff in the bin.

@Nfgc86 The best sweep story would be Nicholas returning and marrying Esme. That way, she can't testify against him for keeping her locked up in the North Tower. Nicholas will blackmail Ava to get back his castle and spoon island. Be cause this Esme baby Soencer line is ridiculous 🙄.

@@lucy2180 I’m all for Nik coming back and pulling some stuff to get custody. Tbh I’m just tired of Esme as a character. I’m also not a fan of her ultimately getting what she came there for, which was the Cassadine money and family. She’s already got the baby, she doesn’t need the name. She needs her comeuppance.

It's unreasonable to ask someone whose life you tried to ruin to just forgive and forget, no matter the circumstances. I am sick of NuEsme being whitewashed and us being forced to see Spencer as the bad guy and Esme as some poor innocent soul. Losing your memory and having a child does not make you a totally different person nor does it absolve you of your past actions.

This whole storyline feels really sketchy. Spencer wanting to take a baby away from its mother without her consent and without genuine evidence that she is unfit or a danger to the baby reeks of mysogyny, paternalism, and frankly is unethical. As a mom of young kids I feel like the writers on this storyline are being super insensitive to the questionable ethics of portraying Spencer as the town hero/protagonist and Esme continuing to be the antagonist. I’ve watched GH for most of my adult life and ive suffered through many bad storylines (Dante cheating on Lulu, Sam and that weird vampire storyline, etc.) but this isn’t just bad writing it’s morally wrong to portray the antagonist as someone who should have their baby taken away from them without just cause. Mothers have rights, and babies need their parents not their siblings. Laura isn’t arguing any of this, she’s just trying to get on esme’s side to gain her trust so she can eventually separate them. Seriously?!

Memory loss isn’t always permanent and Esmè didn’t even WANT THAT BABY- The baby was her “ACE” in the hole to keep Her out of Jail! His entire NAME was a reminder that her son was a PAWN! So if she were to get her memory back she COULD be a danger- I wonder would everybody be this understanding if Heather Webber lost her memory and became “nice”- ESMÈ wouldn’t even give her the time of day-But she expects everyone else to? All Esmè is doing is waiting for everyone to put their guard down- so she can go in for the kill…

As a mom of young kids, I don’t consider that to be just cause for the forced removal of an infant from it’s only surviving parent. It’s super sketchy and I wonder if this would happen if the head writers were female. I would be surprised if a real world court of law would also deem that justifiable, for two reasons: 1/ it’s difficult to prove intent and 2/ intent while pregnant does not represent evidence of being an unfit caregiver once baby is born. I wonder how I can give feedback to the writers. I also wonder if they would care.

It’s not anymore sketchy than having her drug a jock girl the. Try to pin a crime in her knowing how racist the criminal justice sysyem. So then they make mommy so that she doesn’t pay for her crimes. As a mom, I have no issues for her getting comeuppance. Lbr that child is better off with Laura and Kevin. But they want the white girl to get away with her crimes while the black girl was raked over the coals.

Let's put things in perspective Esme is evil mother or not she needs to pay for her crimes yes CRIMES in case you forgot she drugged someone not once but twice, attempted murder on that bartender, recorded and distributed revenge porn. She set Ava's car on fire and taunted her bringing up memories of her dead daughter. She decided Spencer from the beginning he was just a pawn in her game, slept with her boyfriend's father. She did all of this willingly. She needs to go to jail do her time then she can rejoin society and become that loving parent that she wants to be. This storyline is weak.

you thinking they’re portraying Spencer as the protagonist and not absolutely bending over backwards to make you feel sorry for Esme after everything she’s done is so far off, but okay. Having a child doesn’t erase your past. Being a sex offender and attempted murderer are valid reasons for some to question your ability to parent. But don’t worry, they’re not actually taking her baby away and that won’t be the outcome of the story. It’s quite literally just a storyline meant to make you sympathize with Esme and look at you, it’s working :)

I read that we were going to get a little bit of a love triangle…of sorts with Spencer Trina and Esme. While he appreciates all of the changes she has made his heart belongs to Trina. He and Trina WILL be together. I also heard that they putting Esme with Cam. Cam will be back on the show. Hang on y’all. Let’s see how this plays out.
