You're exactly right with the plastic intake manifold that's why I don't understand why cleetus McFarland with McFlurry runs that plastic manifold on that Godzilla motor with twin turbos he hasn't changed that out yet that car would be a lot faster if you put a better intake manifold on not to mention why risk blowing that motor up and stuff is expensive

Yea but the audi can make almost 3kwhp, the c8 is maxed out. Audi is only half way to its max lol. Ill be getting a 3kwhp ugr tt kit on a r8 or Huracan when I win the lottery! But I love c8s and since the lottery gives you MILLIONS, ill also be giving them a call, that is a beautiful c8, I love German cars and Euros, don't really like American cars, but corvettes are special, they are really like Germans and Euros. And I've owned an e90 335i, e92 m3, and now have an m6 with the 5.0 v10. Also owned many mercs. And I freaking love vettes. My dad is a vette dude, he turned 70 last October but got diagnosed with cancer, but has been whopping cancers ass, he had a c3 76 yellow corvtte in 1978, while they were still new, a drunk driver hit it while parked and my dad lost the car because he didn't have insurance on it at the time, I want to get a vette soon so I can make some memories with dad in a vette haha, unfortunately don't know how much longer I got!

Dude you never cease to amaze me, you and your team go after the performance throne time after time. Every now and then I give you a hard time, especially according to the Gen 6 ZL1, I like to skip the small stuff and just say add a cam and 2650 and go ! But this corvette build is the pinnacle of your ideas and team effort. Dude I don't drink but here's to LMR, the baddest *** in the game. And I'm from East Texas, Dude you build and back it up ! A lot of people talk, but can't walk the walk ! I'm truly happy for LMR !

CRAZY HOW YOUR ABLE TO CUT TIMING JUST FOR A HUNDRETH OF SECOND TO GET THE TORQUE DOWN LOW ENOUGH FOR CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT AND THEN RAMP UP POWER SO QUICKLY THAT ITS ABSOLUTELY SEEMLESS !! I APPRECIATE THOSE FINE DETAILS AND I KNOW WHO TO GO TO WITH SUCH ASPIRATIONS. STELLAR WORK.

WITH that kind of power,,, which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING you should REALLY think about bullet proofing the glass and the firewall between you and that motor just in case it desides to go BALLISTIC, you've seen and possibly have experienced an explosion on a Dyno right, anything can happen and no need to put yourself through that on the road or the track, the destruction of the car is bad enough don't want to see you possibly die in the process. Amazing car and an amazing video, stay safe out there and God bless.

I’m not sure if the block is the holding factor but much more the transmission, but overall still impressive on stock stroke and forge rods and pistons

Great work and nice build but for attention to detail I can’t get past that one clamp out of the four in front of the turbos being longer. I could never live with that and would have to cut it. Also was that a none boosted R8? Would be a lot nicer to see a twin turbo car from sheepy race for example go up against the c8. 13:16

on my supra I control my high boost setting with a missal switch and I have thrown the switch up mid race just to win. I also run a duel fuel set up on methanol, I may not be making the power your making with this vette but then again im not a super wealthy guy haha. I really like your duel fuel set up though, I like the variable speed fuel pump.

I would like to see this on an E Ray or a kit developed for the Z06. I know it will be a while, if at all possible, with the E Ray and more likely with the Z06. As cool as a base C8 is one of those would really kick ass.

What map you running on those wheels I’m Sure it can’t handle map 3 those look like 20/21s, I’m sure you have to run a radial or beadlock on map 3 full power setting! But man that car is incredible, can’t wait to see what y’all can get out the z06 with that flat plane V8

Yes, with the 21s on Mr Fereday would run the car on Wastegate only. When the C02 bottle got turned on for Map 1,2, or 3 he always ran an 18in beadlock MT drag radial in the back. 👍

Yes, for a complete turn key package you are looking at around 100-150k. Mr Fereday is still developing new products for this platform everyday and hopefully some of the manufacturers in the industry will continue to do the same so we will soon have 1500-2000hp reliable HP.

Now surprise us by doing a twin turbo Z06 BEFORE GM brings the ZR1 out. They claim 850HP, sounds like you should be able to at least double that!

@@zonapainter As they did with the standard C8 they certainly can lower the compression and put in better rods! The damn thing with probably still be cheaper than the new ZR1!

@@royrauch9775 they didn't lower the compression on the base C8. They either ran extremely low boost or they put a new built engine in them from LPE. Also, only the stupid crazy rich people are going to void a warranty on a $150 - $200K vehicle, and that's an extremely small group of people.
