When it comes to naming vehicles such as cars, ships or planes there are many types of names that are given, whether it an amalgamation of words and letters like Audi R8 or Lexus IS 1300 or normal words in different language like Antonov AN22 Mriya (which is Dream in Ukrainian) or Ford Fiesta (which is Party is Spanish) and then there is naming vehicles after animals, with some being famous because of their animals names, for example the Ford Mustang and Bronco, as for planes there the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and the Grumman F4F Wildcat.
Then there are locomotives and if you ask a railway enthusiast, they would probably mention the LNER A4 class, I only notice recently that a good majority of the class were named after real birds and I thought it would be interesting to do a side by side comparison of the respective locomotive and the real birds.
