LNER liveried class 800 no, 800103 arrives at Peterborough with 5X91

Working from London King's Cross to Doncaster IET Depot as 5X91 stopping at all stations and a few loops we see the first LNER liveried class 800 aka the Azuma no, 800103 arriving at Peterborough station. Unfortunately the departure was missed as like with most Intercity Express Train tests they don't hang around at any calling points

Livery looks like a Shinkansen 0 Series. Fitting for a Japanese British EMU

Front looks good.not sure about the side. Should have LNER and not Azuma on the side. Also they would far better in mallard blue.

It would definitely be nice but if we see one in blue or not is another matter. Need to see what the company decides

I have to agree with you on that one, they not 'Azuma' on the GWML, so why should they be on the ECML. LNER on the side of the carriages.

When Virgin Trains East Coast had the franchise it was decided their class 800/801/802s would be Azumas but the GWR decided their trains would be known as IET (Intercity Express Train)

Is it just me or UK railways turing into white livery? Virgin Trains has them, Transport for wales, Greatanglia and more

Ghost train livery. My favourite livery is ÖBB Railjet, a quality look, well done Austria.

thanks. didn't think it was picking up passengers - it just looked like it - because i don't think they're meant to enter service until next month. although i'm not sure that will happen with them causing problems after York with the signals and points when they are in electric mode!

Yeah, at Peterborough they're either waiting 20 minutes for pathing or running in the path of an afternoon Leeds service so stops for a couple minutes
