As per usual, it's nice to see a couple of professionals that have planned the job carefully and know exactly how to deal with the (If any) unexpected problems. If it were my house, I would feel 100% confident that I have left it in safe, trustworthy, honest and hard working hands. Oh, by the way, Alex. I couldn't help notice that at 8:00, on the way to fuel up and avoid rip off Asda, that you appeared to have forgotten to put your seat belt on! Not a criticism, only an observation.

Hello, I've watched quite a few of your videos and admire your pace and work ethic. I am a retired very enthusiastic DIYer and dread employing tradespeople to do the jobs I just can't manage on my own because over the years I've had a few that are corner cutters if they think they can get away with it. Lintels that are too short for example, just a couple of inches of support either end.... and dot and dabbing plasterboard without a continuous bead of adhesive around the floor, ceiling and corners, to name just a couple. You can't hide shortcuts because you film it all and are confident you are doing it right. Well done! I wish all builders would film their work from start to finish and I'd be tempted to pay to have more work done. I'd certainly pay you but sadly you are too far away. Keep up the good honest work guys!

Q) probably an obvious reason but any reason why you dont take a section out of the wall from the top first and insert the steal and then demolish the rest of it? That would result in the steal is solid support along with the accros until everything is tied in.

So there is no need for strongboys in the wall the propped ceiling Joyce’s hold the wall above? What’s the mesh called you use to hold the beam fill? Also why did you put the props through the floor on one side and not the other?
