Glad you picked up those chalkware unicorns. Always pick up vintage chalkware plaques. That butter dish with the grapes pattern was Arthur Court, that you should have taken also. Arthur Court and Wendell August Forge in metalwork are usually no brainers.

Don't know if you know this but if you soak the taped item in water so long as it's waterproof the tape will become loose and come away from the item without damage
