New Faces in the Dark is a good marriage of the soft and heavy. The chorus is very much a mellow, deftones vibe, but the verses are chaotic and brutal. Nice breakdown in there too

New Faces in the Dark is _amazing._ Heavy, disgusting riffs mixed in with a very cool ambient part. _And the breakdown of that song... Man, it should be classified as a sonic weapon. It absolutely murdered me when I heard it for the first time._

Nice! For a mix of both styles, Aggressive Evolution and New Faces in the Dark were both singles from the album that do this really well, think you'd enjoy for sure. Would love to see a full album reaction!

Duuuude this band has become one of my favorites since I’ve first listened to them some months ago. I think that if you want to do this massively diverse album justice and enjoy it the most, you’ll need to listen to it from front to back in one go. Trust me, It’s quite the experience!

Great reaction man, lots of options if you want a mix of the heavy and melodic. The self title song Loathe, East of Eden, I Let It In and It took everything, new faces in the dark is also my personal favorite

I agree with all the loathe songs being thrown at you. There's an older song of theirs called "White Hot" that is a good mix of what you're looking for
