Yow Raj! I couldn’t help hearing you said that those Lobsters that you caught in the Bahamas get bigger that the ones you get in Jamaica or something to the effect that those Lobsters dont get that big in Jamaica. Man thats BULLSHIT !!! They’re exactly the same Caribbean Reef Lobster , the difference is that the fisheries industry in Jamaica is so corrupted that no one follows the rules even if there are any , concerning fish quotas, sizes and species. I am originally from Ocho Rios and as a kid and into my teens , i use to spearfish for Lobsters and different species of fish and i can tell you that back then , we caught some giants Lobsters in the shallow reefs. Nowadays, every videos that i watch from Jamaica your fellow spear fisherman are all shooting baby lobsters. Like Cray fishing, Cameron family , Hidden beauty tv, Junior wildlife , Anthony spear fishing,just to name a few. The new Jamaicans have no idea the damage that they are causing. Harvesting undersize fish and Lobsters are criminal offences here in the USA and Canada and a lot of other countries. Caribbean reef Lobsters if left to mature can live up to 80 plus years and produce millions of babies and not to mention, they can grow up to 20 plus pound’s. Me personally have seen a 15 pound Caribbean reef lobster in Ocho Rios .
