I never tried it with 1 row of locs always used two rows and it was always too bulky at the end. And I have long locs so I thought I needed short locs to make it look more like cornrows. This is nice!! And you do look cute with them. Can’t wait to retry this!!!!

I'll try to do that. My locs are organic and arent perfectly parted, so i forsee a bit of struggle. And I wont be slicking back the edges, but I don't care much. The way you did it looks great

Any edge control can cause build up if used to often without rinsing it out. So I wash my edges anytime I feel it’s to much edge control up front. That’s helps me not to have any build up. Also cover your hair every night so lint can’t get stuck to your edge control and give you that type of build up as well.
