Yes, 600 is alot lol! Yes, you don't always need a very large number to have fullness, but I do believe density plays a role as well. I've always had a very dense head of hair

I was just upset I only have 395 and was thinking I'd take a few down and split them to make more. But nevermind lol! Seeing how yours looks at 332 I'm going to leave these 395 alone. Kind of glad I didn't make them much smaller and ended up with over 400 or even 500 😱

Everyone's hair is different. You have to do your research and adjust throughout your journey as you figure out what works for you. What works for me, may not work for others. I'm still learning as well. What I do know is that it's important to find a good shampoo, take care of your scalp, avoid putting too much product on your hair to avoid build-up, and protect your hair with a silk/satin scarf or bonnet at night. I personally wash every 1-3 weeks, oil my scalp occasionally, and use water or rose water for moisture. To avoid thinning, I don't retighten too tight and I don't put too much tension on my locs. Keeping locs from becoming dry and brittle also is important to avoid thinning. That's about it. Hope this helps!
