This is my second journey my first journey a full mane, now I will do it top locks inch side fade for different options anyway I have never paid anyone to twist my hair the authentic way to start your locks is to cut the hair and short as possible at least a one guard, immediately wash close the fingers of the palm of the hand and start to spin clockwise if you are right-handed. My second journey I'm starting the same way never pay, what should happen is your hair should start rolling up clockwise like a little balls little curls what happens is when those finally lock the hair grows into the little ball or curl never having to twist your hair. This way is more proactive learn to spend your hair with less hair of a three guard you'll be good to go, but I will say if you have gone and gotten twisted at your local the pattern will show up like once upon a time it was there that's a good thing keep spinning
