Just a good tip, when rubber banding the ends, fold them for more strength and less breakage.

This actually helped me a lot I’ve been retwisting my hair but it doesn’t last unless I style it and I get tired of barrel twist so I tried two strand but they never stayed and I just realised It’s because I twist in the same way I retwist the locs but now that I have said to go in the opposite of the retwist I tried it and it worked

This video was SUPER helpful! I’ve been retwist it my wife’s locs for over a year now but yesterday I went and got me that comb with the pointy end and made sure her parts were very well defined. I then did the two strand twists for the first time and it looks AMAZING! I’m so proud of myself lol. What is in the oil that you use at the end though? I really want to try it…

When you’re twisting them together, what do you do when there’s an uneven amount? Like with the extra one in the row if that makes sense.

Sometimes by the time im finished with the Retwist it’ll just be dry, if not they sit under the dryer for a few minutes.

I’m learning to retwist I started my son’s dreads doing 2strand twist but my boyfriend has dreads and I have to retwist both. When you’re perfecting the parts it is okay to tug at/take the hair from one loc to make the parting straight for another? (Not sure if that made sense lol) I’m used to using just my fingers which gives me messier/freeformed parting but with clients I want to perfect the box shape

In theory yes but you should not be twisting to the left

Isn’t interlocking better? It’s less manipulation to the loc and doesn’t stress them or thin them out.

Hello...love your video...I plan on retwisting my starter locs soon for the first time.....plz can u show me slowly on the part after ur done twisting and u kind of flip it and it doesn't unravel,is it the type of oil your using or it's a technique?....I currently don't have clips so that would be helpful to learn.(definitely subscribing and following on IG)
