Sir Rene, I appreciate your extensive and insightful discussion of these lessons. The three lessons I took away from our conversation are as follows: 1. Local culture refers to the behaviors, convictions, and traditions unique to the Philippines. Local culture encompasses everything, including what we eat, how we dress, and how we interact. 2. Additionally, I now have a better understanding of cultural globalization, which is the growth and fortification of social links through the transnational exchange of ideas, meanings, and values. The widespread consumption of cultures that have been spread through the Internet, popular culture media, and foreign travel can be used to identify this trend. 3. I'd like to talk about how I view globalization. Extending goods and services to other nations is a big help for our country, and in return, the recipients will pay back the favors, from which both countries benefit. Additionally, it helps to raise people's standards of living, learn new things, and build a better world for the coming generation.

Thank you for your lesson Sir Rene! These are the three things I have learned from your discussion. 1. Local culture provides a sense of identity for rural communities and residents. This identity facilitates common understandings, traditions, and values, all central to the identification of plans of action to improve well-being. For development local culture can serve as a basin, such efforts can serve to promote the local identity, regional languages, and minority cultures. Efforts can focus on preservation or promotion of a culture, but can also use culture to mobilize the local population. 2.Cultural globalization refers to the process by which one culture's experiences, values, and ideas are disseminated throughout the world through various means. 3. Globalization tends to emphasize similarities, whereas local emphasizes differences. The relationship between the individual and the group is dynamic in that both depend upon and interact with each other. The cultural context in which this occurs is what distinguishes societies from one another. Retreat from the intense, irrevocable impact of the Global, is the desire to retain roots, traditional structure, autonomy, local authority and the belief in a cohesive value system.

Thank you for this topic Sir Rene☺ 1.The five scapes explain how cultures around the world influence each other. Ethnoscapes- the movement of people around the world. Technoscapes- the ways technologies help speed up cross-border movements. Financescapes- the rapid movement of money across borders. Mediascapes- the power of international media to send news information across the globe at a rapid rate. Ideoscapes- the ideas, symbols and narratives that have spread around the globe. 2. Local culture is everything that we create and share as part of our lives in the place where we live or work. Local culture recognizes that people’s daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. 3.Globalization refers to the worldwide interconnection of people and enterprises, which eventually leads to cultural, political, economic interaction. It is the capacity to move across the world and interact effortlessly with others in order to conduct international business.

Thanks for the informative discussion of this lesson, Sir Rene! Here are the three lessons I learned from your discussion. 1. Local culture refers to a country's behaviors, beliefs, and customs, which include everything from how people work and dress to how they eat. It also includes everything we create and spread as a result of living and working in the places we do. 2. Global culture may be seen of as a way of life for all people on the planet, as well as the development and consumption of cultural products by individuals from different nations. And I have also learned about the 5 scapes of Globalization, the ethnoscapes, mediascapes, ideoscapes, technoscapes, and financescapes. This explain how cultures around the world influence each other. 3. Local culture may be found in our connections with our surroundings and creative expressions, in the past and present social challenges of our community, and in the tales of our ancestors. Local culture gives rural communities and their citizens a feeling of identity. We can find shared beliefs, customs, and understandings necessary for enhancing wellbeing through this identity. Culture fosters community cohesion and identity.

Thank you for this wonderful discussion sir Rene. I've learned a lot such as: 1. We learn or practice local culture from our own community or nation. We have all adapted from the places where we were born or upbringing in terms of our beliefs and actions. 2. Globalization is the interaction between communities on a global and local scale. Our world is increasingly globalized as a result of globalization. Our society are undergoing a process of unimaginable upheaval. Whether or not their views and thoughts are correct, global forces have an impact on local values and cultures. Popular culture, or the culture of the people, evolves along with new developments. Popular culture is influenced by the relationships, needs, and aspirations of the everyday world. In many countries, local cultures have virtually vanished and been replaced with a kind of culture shaped by mass media and the adoption of international trends. 3. The two most powerful factors in the modern world are globalization and industrialization. Globalization is the integration of economies, communities, and cultures around the world, whereas industrialization is the process of applying machinery, technology, and new methods of production to boost output.

Sir René, thank you for this taped lecture and for your constructive discussion! These are the things I've learned as a result of your instruction. 1. Local culture, I've learnt, is the set of beliefs, behaviors, and practices that exist in every place, and it's everywhere. I've discovered that local culture appreciates people's expertise in living their lives. Their methods of life shape their characters, as evidenced by how they react to the world. It acknowledges that people's daily knowledge is derived from shared life experiences and information passed down through family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Globalization of culture promotes the exchange of cultural values between countries and the preservation of tradition. 2. I've also learned about the globalization of the link between global and local communities. Global communities are made up of people from various countries that want to connect globally. Local communities are made up of people who share a common interest or passion and live in the same country. The local and global are linked, and neither can live without the other. 3. Finally, I've learnt about the five particular scopes of globalization articulated by anthropologist Appadurai, which are the ethnos cape, which refers to the flow of people across borders, and the mediascape, which also refers to the flow of media across borders. The term technoscape relates to technological flows. Finally, there is the Ideoscape, which refers to the flow of ideas. This might be small-scale, such as an individual publishing her or his personal thoughts on Facebook for public consumption, or it can be larger and more systematic. Missionaries are a good example. The approach to culture hybridization emphasizes the interaction of local and global cultures.

Thank you for this lesson Sir Rene, these are my ingsights and answer to your questions: 1. Local Culture is everywhere.Local culture is everything that we create and share as part of our lives in the place where we live or work.Local culture recognizes the expertise that people have in living their daily lives. People bring a wealth of knowledge to their activities , where to buy the freshest meats, how to machine a part within a thousandth of an inch, when to move the infield closer to the plate for a bunt, what types of patterns go well with each other, how to reach consensus on a cooperative’s committee.Local culture recognizes that people’s daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. 2. Globalization is defined as the process of localizing a concept or idea that is on a global level to a scale that fits the local or regional needs. Glocalization in economics is the launching and cultural appropriation of a product to be accepted among the local customers. 3. The two factors that have biggest influence in the modern world are industrialization and globalization. Globalization and industrialization have been the leading movement in this dynamic world. These entities are responsible for enhancing human life socially, economically and politically and ensuring that world trends are ever-changing and heading towards a more digital world.

Thank you for sharing this lesson sir rene,Here are the three things I've learned: 1.Local culture is all we produce and spread as a component of our lives in the location where we live or work. It recognizes that shared life experiences and information transmission are the sources of people's everyday knowledge. Local culture exists everywhere; we create it and share it as a part of our lives in particular locations, whether urban or rural. 2.People from all over the world now share common experiences, ideologies, social conventions, and symbols that serve as a unifying force as a result of globalization. In the period of globalization, products like music, movies, clothes, and phones are made to appeal to a worldwide audience. This has facilitated increased interconnection on a worldwide. 3.As we've already established, the term "globalization" refers to the connections' increasing pace and extent. Understanding the shifting social contexts that modern individuals are regularly engaged in during the course of their daily lives requires a framework that views globalization in terms of the people, objects, and ideas that traverse international borders.

Thank you for sharing this lesson sir! This video is very informative And so, these are the lessons that I've learned throughout your discussion: (1) Local culture refers to the customs and values of the people who live in a particular area or country. The word "local" makes it clear that this refers to a group of cultures that are observed within the nation. In essence, it is anything that we, as humans, produce or share as a regular aspect of our lives. (2) Additionally, I now have a better knowledge of the five globalization scales because we already know that globalization is the process of expanding interconnectivity on a worldwide scale. That concludes the discussion of the ethnoscapes, mediascapes, ideoscapes, technoscapes, and financescapes. (3) A global culture is a grouping of shared values, mannerisms, symbols, and experiences. Cultures can exist at the global, national, regional, city, neighborhood subculture, and superculture levels. These civilizations don't compete with one another ; they coexist in a variety of ways. On the other hand, cultural globalization affects both the blending of traditions and the sharing of cultural values among numerous nations. The blending of consumer and commercial cultures across nations and the communication are characteristics of cultural globalization. Additionally, we interact daily with people who follow and interact daily with people who follow other religions, speak different languages, or come from different countries. These discussions enable us to pick up new information, broaden our worldview, and surely bolster our relationship.

This video is very informative, Sir Rene! And so, these are the lessons that I’ve learned throughout your discussion: (1) When we say local culture, it is the behaviors and beliefs of people within their residence, within the nation. From the word local, it clearly means that it is a set of cultures that’s being practiced within the country. It is basically something that we, people create or share as part of our daily lives. (2) Also, I have gained deeper understanding with the five scapes of Globalization, as we already know that globalization is the increasing scope of interconnections throughout the globe. With that, the ethnoscapes, mediascapes, ideoscapes, technoscapes, and financescapes have been discussed. (3) Moreover, Globalization 3.0 was discussed. It clearly states that within this globalization, the change was caused by the people. And the internet also took a huge part of this change. It just shows how individuals communicate with each other through internet or technology.

Thank for this lesson sir. Here are the things I learned from the video 1. Local culture is everything we create and share as part of our daily interactions in the areas where we live or work. Local culture acknowledges that shared knowledge and life experiences are the source of people's common knowledge. The customs, beliefs, and behaviors of a nation include everything from how people live and work to how they dress and dine. The local culture is this. I've discovered that everything we produce as a byproduct of our lifestyle is influenced by the culture of the area in which we reside. Local culture permeates every aspect of life, giving rural communities and the residents who live there a sense of identity. When there is a shared identity, it is easier to identify the customs, viewpoints, and understandings required for formulating plans of action to enhance wellbeing. People can identify with and feel a sense of community thanks to culture. 2. Globalization and industrialization have fundamentally altered how people work and live, frequently leading to increased social connection and economic wealth. Additionally, they have been associated with cultural degradation brought on by the extinction of traditional lifestyles, the expansion of commercial culture, and a tendency toward social conformity. 3. Based on the idea that cultural degeneration is the progressive loss of a civilization's traditions, values, and beliefs, it can be applied to daily activities, mental habits, and social interactions.

Sir Rene, thanks for the enlightening conversations! These three things are what I took away from our conversation: 1. A region, nation, or community-specific culture is referred to as local culture. It encompasses the dialect, mannerisms, attitudes, beliefs, and traditions of the local populace. A sort of culture known as global culture is one that all people on the planet share. It is a culture that is continually changing and is affected by other nations, cultures, and faiths. As people from various cultures interact with one another, local and international cultures can overlap and influence one another. New cultural norms, values, and beliefs may result from this, and other civilizations may then adopt them. 2.The two most significant forces influencing the modern world are industrialization and globalization. Globalization is the process of merging economies, communities, and cultures from all around the world, whereas industrialization is the process of deploying machinery, technology, and new methods of production to boost productivity. 3. Industrialization and globalization have profoundly changed how people live and work, usually resulting in economic prosperity and more connectivity. They have also been linked to cultural deterioration as a result of the abolition of traditional ways of life, the growth of rampant consumerism, and a predisposition for social homogenization.

Thank you for sharing these lessons, Sir! 1. I learned that local culture is present everywhere. We are living a life with its existence. Because local culture is our beliefs, practices, and traditions. These things serve as the main reason why our identity is being exposed. Local culture is part of our lives, human. Also, it can be shared to anyone around us. This has a huge role in our society since it produces an essence of identity. This also helps us understand the life of people within this locality. 2. I learned that Global Culture is worldwide. It is a set of common experiences, values, symbols, and concepts that unify individuals on a worldwide scale is referred to as global culture. Also, Global culture is bringing people from all around the world together. The world's population is blending its distinctions and becoming more tolerant of one another. In times of crisis, when everyone has come together to work toward peace and freedom, this process of emerging global culture can be seen. 3.Globalization means accelerating movements and exchanges (of people, goods, services, capital, technology or cultural practices) around the world. One of the effects of globalization is to facilitate and increase interactions between different regions and population groups around the world.

As a result of globalization, we live in a globalized world. A process of unprecedented change is sweeping through our societies. Global forces affect local values and cultures with their thoughts and ideas, whether they are true or false. As new changes occur, popular culture, or the culture of the people, also changes. The interactions, demands, and desires of the ordinary world shape popular culture. Local cultures have largely disappeared and have been replaced in many nations by a sort of culture influenced by mass media and the adoption of global trends. 2. A collection of common beliefs, behaviors, symbols, and experiences is referred to as a global culture. At the global, national, regional, city, neighborhood, subculture, and super culture levels, cultures can exist. These civilizations coexist in a variety of ways rather than being mutually exclusive. On the other hand. the blending of traditions and the sharing of cultural values among many nations are both influenced by cultural globalization. For cultural globalization is characterized by the merging of consumer and commercial cultures across nations and the expansion of global communication. Moreover, every day, we come into contact with individuals who practice various religions, speak various languages, or originate from various nations. These conversations allow us to learn new things, expand our knowledge of the world, and undoubtedly strengthen our relationships. 3. Local culture is everywhere. Local culture resides in our relations with the local environment and landscapes, in our local music and artistic expressions, in our community’s history and contemporary social issues, and in our family’s stories. Rural communities and residents are able to feel a sense of identity through their local culture. Through this identity, we can identify common values, traditions, and understandings essential to improving well-being. Local identity and solidarity are strengthened by culture.

I appreciate this discussion, sir. Three significant lessons I took away from this video are listed below. 1. In every single place, local culture is present. In our individual communities, it consists of the things we can see, feel, experience, and do. The set of behaviors, attitudes, and traditions known as local culture exist in a given nation and include anything from the way people work and dress to the way they eat. Our speech patterns are another example 2. Globalization makes the world smaller and become interconnected with each other. With this business and trade is now smoother and faster. Local or foreign products can now be easily introduced outside it's country and make it known. 3. There are 5 scapes of Globalization named as ethnoscapes , technoscapes, ideoscapes, financescapes, and mediascapes. And I noticed that there's something in common between these 5, it all focuses on the process or connection across countries around the world.

Thankyou for this lesson sir. 1.Local culture is all that we produce and offer as a result of our everyday actions, whether we are witnessing or creating. People are valued in the local culture for their aptitude at doing common chores. The folks contribute a lot of expertise to their operations. The shared experiences and knowledge that individuals receive from their family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers serve as the foundation for their everyday knowledge, according to the area culture. 2.A group of common values, traditions, symbols, and experiences known as global culture binds people from all around the world. At the global, national, regional, municipal, neighborhood, subculture, and superculture levels, cultures can exist. Such civilizations interact in many different ways and are not antagonistic to one another. 3.Increased productivity, business growth, innovation, and efficient resource usage are all factors that industrialization brings about in terms of economic growth. Increased trade openness benefits countries' productive capacity, global market integration, foreign direct investment, and technical progress.

Everything from how people eat and dress to how they work and communicate. Local culture is a term that is commonly used to describe the experience of everyday life in specific, identifiable locales. It is the people's daily knowledge that is derived from shared life experiences and information passed down from family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. I have also learned about The Five "Scapes" of Globalization, which are the ethnospae, technoscape, ideoscape, financescape, mediascape. I learned that there are 4 ages of Globalization, and that it started with Globalization 1.0 during the 1492-1800. It was a pre-World War I globalization, which was triggered by a historic drop in trade costs caused by steam and other forms of mechanical power, making it economically feasible to consume goods manufactured far away. This globalization came with almost no government support.

Local culture provides a sense of identity for rural communities and residents and it is the set of behaviors, belief, and customs that exist in a country. And local culture is present everywhere. A result of globalization, we lived in globalized world. Globalization is the process of interaction and integration between people. And lastly, the term "global culture" may be used to refer to both the whole way of life of the world's population as well as the cultural products that are created and regularly consumed by individuals who reside in several nations, not just one.

Local is like belonging or relating to a particular area or neighborhood, typically exclusively so. Local culture is the set of behaviours, beliefs and customs that exist in a country-everything from how people eat and dress to the way they work and communicate. 2. Global Culture refers to the transmission of ideas, meanings and values around the world in such a way as to extend and intensify social relations. This process is marked by the common consumption of cultures that have been diffused by the Internet, popular culture media, and international travel. 3. Local and Global differs, Global communities are made up of people from different countries, with the goal to connect globally. It reflects ordinary people’s feelings of appropriateness, comfort, and correctness - attributes that define personal preferences and changing tastes. Local culture is all we produce and exchange as a part of our daily lives in the neighborhoods where we live or work. 2. The global community is essential because it unites people from all over the world who share similar values and views. However, local communities can also negatively impact the global community if they prioritize their own issues over those of the entire world. 3.I learned that there are 4 ages of Globalization, and that it started with Globalization 1.0 during the 1492-1800. It was a pre-World War I globalization, which was triggered by a historic drop in trade costs caused by steam and other forms of mechanical power, making it economically feasible to consume goods manufactured far away. Thank you for your discussion, Sir. There are the three things that I have learned in this video; ✅ Local Culture is everything that we create and share as it part of our individual lives in the place where we live and work. Also Local Culture does not define as a low quality product but represent to an associated word "Ethnicity or Native" that is everywhere that circulates within country while Global Culture refers to the transmission of ideas, meanings and values around the world in such a way as to extend and intensify social relations. This process is marked by the common consumption of cultures that have been diffused by the Internet, popular culture media, and international travel. ✅ I have learned that the relationship between Local and Global culture is Globalisation. That Global tends to emphasise similarities, whereas local emphasises difference. The relationship between the individual and the group is dynamic in that both depend upon and interact with each other. The cultural context in which this occurs is what distinguished societies from one another. ✅ Therefore, I conclude that having Cultural Globalization can help and access us to a new cultural products (art, entertainment, education) Better understanding of foreign values and attitudes. Less stereotyping and fewer misconceptions about other people and cultures. Instant access to information from anywhere in the world.

thanks for the lesson i have learned sir.. 1. Nearby culture is everywhere.local culture dwells in our relations with the neighborhood climate and scenes in our neighborhood music and creative articulations locally history and contemporary social issues , and our families stories. Country people group and inhabitants can feel a feeling of personality through their neighborhood culture. Through this character we can recognize normal qualities, customs and understanding basics to working on prosperity. Neighborhood character fortitude are fortified by culture. 2. I have additionally discovered that the connection among worldwide and nearby networks is one of globalization. Golbal people group are comprised of individuals from diffferent nations fully intent on interfacing worldwide. Neighborhood people group are comprised of individuals who live in a similar Nation and have normal interest or energy. 3. A worldwide culture is impacted a mixing of customs and the dividing of social qualities between numerous countries. Our general public are going through an exceptional change process. Worldwide powers an affect neighborhood values and societies through their perspectives and thoughts. Another significant benefit of globalization is that it has broadened our perspective on different cultures and improved intercultural understanding. 3. One of the most obvious and significant effects of globalization is increased migration, as more people cross borders and move within countries in search of better job opportunities and better quality of life. Globalization has indeed displaced millions of people and triggered population movements that are now difficult to control.

Good day sir, thank you for this recorded lesson. I have learned that 1. Local culture recognizes that people’s daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Local culture is everything that we create and share as part of our lives in the place where we live or work. 2. Globalization is the integration of the entire world into a single economic unit. This is associated with frictionless movement of money, ideas, and (to a lesser extent) people. This growing reality has created a newer type of popular culture, global culture. 3.People these days not only hesitate to interact with other cultures, but also make judgements. Certain stereotypes are attached to some communities that still exist in the minds of people. I don’t understand why they don’t question these differences, and accept others as they are. Often we have seen that people consider their culture to be the best, and others as inferior.

Thank you Sir for presenting this new knowledge. So those are the 3 matters I actually have discovered out of your discussion: 1. I now apprehend that "neighborhood subculture" refers to a country's exclusive customs, values, and behaviors, which embody the entirety from what humans devour and get dressed to how they behave and interact. And, as you stated withinside the video, neighborhood subculture is gift everywhere. 2. I've additionally discovered extra approximately cultural globalization, that's the growth and strengthening of social ties via the global dissemination of concepts, meanings, and values. This fashion may be recognized with the aid of using the large intake of cultures which have been transmitted with the aid of using the Internet, famous subculture media, and global travel. 3. In addition, I now have a higher know-how of the 5 scapes of globalization, which can be as follows: The motion of humans is called Ethnoscape, the motion of cash is called Financescape, technological globalization is called Technoscape, and Mediascape is the glide of subculture and media.

Thank you sir Rene, This are the three things I’ve learned from this lesson: 1.Everything we produce and exchange as a part of our life in the area where we live or work is referred to as local culture. Local culture acknowledges that people learn things on a regular basis via sharing life experiences and receiving information from their family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. 2. Cultural globalization can be a factor for good if it fosters chances for economic development and fosters social interaction. However, when cultures are destroyed and severe financial disparities are produced, it can also have a darker side. 3. I want to discuss my perspective on globalization. Our country greatly benefits from providing goods and services to other countries, and in exchange, the recipients will reciprocate the favors, benefiting both our nation and theirs. It also contributes to improving people's quality of life, learning new things, and creating a better world for future generations.

3 things i learned form this video, 1. Local Culture provides a sense of identity for rural communities and residents. It is also the set of behaviours, beliefs and customs that exist in a country everything from how people eat and dress to the way they work and communicate and it offers clues in approaching and responding into educational, interpersonal and social situations. 2. The five scape of Globalization which are Ethnoscape - the flow of people globally, Technoscape - the flow of technology, Ideoscape - the political ideology, Financescape - flow of money, Mediascape - the culture media. 3. Global Culture - Is when we interact with different people everyday, belonging to some religion, speaking a different language, or coming from a different country. Because of these interactions, we are able to know more about the world, learn new things, and obviously create bonds. This global relationship is one of the essential things we want today other than peace. If we maintain our bonds with countries, we are likely to get help when needed. Its time that we widen our horizon and accept each and every culture we come across.

Thank you Sir Rene Japitana for this lesson. 3 things I learned. - This study finds that globalization is highly valued in many aspects of the curriculum, that there are epistemological contradictions between students' traditional cultural beliefs and the ideologies and behaviors that globalization promotes, and that high morale The perceived impact of globalization on social well-being is negatively related to the strength of students' traditional cultural beliefs and their level of mental health. - As already mentioned, globalization refers to the increasing pace and volume of connections traveling around the world. His anthropologist Arjun Appadurai discusses this in terms of five specific 'scapes' or currents. They are ethnoscapes, technoscapes, ideoscapes, financial scapes, and mediascapes. Thinking of globalization in terms of the people, goods, and ideas that flow across borders is a productive framework for understanding the changing social landscape that people today often incorporate into their daily lives. - Production is a form of learning in which students create a product or tangible artifact that is the focus of their learning. Production is a form of project-based learning, production can be viewed as a process and the product is usually the end result. There are many types of assignments used in the classroom, but not all lead to tangible outcomes.

Thank you for this lesson sir Rene. These are the three things I have learned from your discussion social connections' growth and fortification through the international exchange of ideas, meanings, and principles. The widespread consumption of cultures that have been spread through the Internet, popular culture media, and foreign travel can be used to identify this trend. The phrase "global culture" refers to how different cultural influences from all over the world are interconnected and reliant on one another. It is shaped by the intercultural exchange of ideas, goods, and information, which is reflected in things like media, popular music, and fashion. I now understand how popular culture has been impacted by globalization. Pop culture has been significantly impacted by the ongoing process of globalization and its attendant developments. Thus, pop culture is defined as the contemporary and mainstream culture that has become accessible to people all over the world as a result of globalization.

Thank you for this clarity discussion of yours, sir! Here are the three things that I’ve learned during the entire discussion: • For me, I learned how popular culture is impacted by globalization. Pop culture has been significantly impacted by globalization, which is an ongoing process that involves connected changes. As a result, pop culture refers to what's new and trendy today, and it reaches not just one country but the entire world thanks to globalization. • The term "global culture" describes current global trends. In the same way that anyone in the world can access entertainment websites like Netflix or Mobile Legends, anyone can binge watch shows on those platforms. • Furthermore, I found that "local culture" refers to a collection of attitudes, values, traditions, and customs that we uphold on a regular basis in a particular region or country. In our daily lives, we simply follow the same routine, so we can define local culture as something we always do.

Thankyou Sir Rene, I gained a lot knowledge from viewing this. First is that for me the word that can be associated in the word glocal is "Global". This means that the idea of this word is about the whole world, not just your country. It also implies that everything connected to the world would be considered one thing, like global education and technology. Second is I think Industrialization is a process by which a country is transformed into an industrialized nation. It can also be defined as the use of technology (such as electricity and machinery) to produce goods and services that enhance life in society. Industrialization has led to improvements in living conditions, health, and standards of living. Third is for me cultural deterioration refers to the process of decreasing or destroying a culture or given society. It is a gradual process of decay in which the cultural structure and its artifacts are lost, undermined, or significantly altered. "The effects of cultural deterioration can be seen in several different areas, such as economic growth and development, environmental degradation, community disintegration and disenfranchisement. Thankyou Sir and Godbless.

I learned that Local Culture is a set of behaviours, beliefs, customs, practices, that we apply on our daily basis in a specific area/nation. That we can describe local culture as something that we always do in out daily lives, just by simply doing the same routine everyday. 2. Global Culture refers to what's trend across the world. Just like binge-watching on Netflix or playing Mobile Legends, not just one specific country is able to access these entertainment sites but rather the whole world. 3. I also learned how Globalization affects Popular Culture. Since globalization is an ongoing process that involves interconnected changes, it greatly influenced pop culture. Hence, pop culture refers to what's new and what's trend today, by the help of globalization, it reaches not just one certain country but the whole world.

Thank you sir for you discussion about local and global cultures. 1. Culture is no longer perceived as a knowledge system inherited from ancestors. As a result, many social scientists now treat culture as a set of ideas, attributes, and expectations that trade as people react to altering circumstances. neighborhood way of life is generally used to represent the experience of everyday lifestyles in specific, identifiable localities. It displays everyday people’s feelings of appropriateness, comfort, and correctness-attributes that define non-public preferences and changing tastes. 2. Local cultures is the set of behaviours, beliefs and customs that exist in a country and everything from how people eat and dress to the way they work and communicate. Local culture provides a experience of identification for rural communities and residents. This identification facilitates common understandings, traditions, and values, all central to the identification of plans of action to improve well-being. Culture contributes to building a experience of local identification and solidarity. It influences the confidence rural communities have for coming together to tackle particular needs and problems. 3. Global cultures is a set of shared experiences, norms, symbols and thoughts that unite human beings at the international level. Cultures can exist at the global, national, regional, city, neighborhood, subculture and exceptional culture levels. Such cultures are now not collectively extraordinary but overlap in endless ways.

Thank you so much sir for sharing to us this lesson and here are my learnings: 1.Firstly, i have learned that "local culture" is part of our behaviours and beliefs that exist in our country or community. Like, for example, the reading, writing, speaking, and religion that were brought to us by the colonizers or Spaniards. 2. In addition, Globalization changes the way of nations, businesses and people interact. Specifically, it changes the nature of economic activity among nations, expanding trade, opening global supply chains and providing access to natural resources and labor markets. 3. Lastly, as i have already established, globalization refers to the increasing pace and scope of interconnections crisscrossing the globe. Anthropologist Arjun Appadurai has discussed this in terms of five specific "scapes" or flows the ethnoscapes, technoscapes, ideoscapes, financescapes, and mediascapes.Thinking of globalization in terms of the people, things, and ideas that flow across national boundaries is a productive framework for understanding the shifting social landscapes in which contemporary people are often embedded in their daily lives. Questions about where people migrate, their reasons for migration, the pace at which they travel, the ways their lives change as a result of their travels, and how their original communities change can all be addressed within this framework. Questions about goods and ideas that travel without the accompaniment of human agents can also be answered using Appadurai’s notion of scapes.

Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge. I understand that, 1.)The term "globalization" refers to the alterations in the world's politics, economy, and culture as a result of the rapid expansion of transnational corporations. The manufacturing, distribution, trade, travel, and communication processes are all impacted by globalization. Although it can considerably increase economic growth, doing so also increases the risk to human security from things like terrorism and illegal immigration. 2.) An economy with strong governmental and governing influence comes to mind when I think about industrialization. Industrialization can be difficult, but it can also lead to improvements in technology, creativity, and business practices. Businesses are able to compete more effectively with other industries because to the rise in education levels, but social stability is also a key aspect in the durability of industrialisation. 3.)My interpretation of the phrase "cultural decline" is that society's values, beliefs, and traditions are being lost over time. As well as the way people engage with one another, this can also refer to ways of thinking and living. a capacity for forming close links with other communities. A culture or group will be unable to forge strong links with other communities if it loses its cultural identity and becomes isolated.

Everything that we create and share becomes our local culture. So when i will be going to travel outside from my own country, hopefully, I'll make sure that i have studied their cultures or practices so that i will be able to set a limit and adjust myself because if I don't, I might insult or can cause trouble. There are a lot of local cultures that are observed everyday and is connected to all aspects of the curriculum. For instance, art, music, theater, geography, history, reading, writing, languages, media and technology, etc. Moreover, the two most influential courses in the modern world are industrialization and globalization in we say industrialization it refers to the process of using machinery and technology why globalization is about the process of integrating economy societies and cultures across the world.

Local culture is a term used to describe a nation's unique practices, values, and beliefs. 2. Globalization is the bringing together of many regions of the world. The five scapes of Appadurai describe how different cultures interact with one another. 3. A person's identity and sense of belonging can be significantly influenced by both local and global cultures. It is crucial to acknowledge and value the variety of local cultures as well as the ways in which they could be influenced by forces of culture on a larger scale. The loss of regional customs and the uniformity of culture are two potential drawbacks of globalization that should also be taken into account.

After the discussion . I have learned three things such as; 1.Local culture is everything that we create and share as part of our lives in the place where we live or work. Local culture recognizes the expertise that people have in living their daily lives. People bring a wealth of knowledge to their activities - where to buy the freshest meats, how to machine a part within a thousandth of an inch, when to move the infield closer to the plate for a bunt, what types of patterns go well with each other, how to reach consensus on a cooperative’s committee. Local culture recognizes that people’s daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. 2. The relationship between global and local communities is globalization. 3.

However, it also has a big impact in the country for we let our skilled people leave our country for it benefits them. 3. Global culture is existing internationally. Some people prefers for example, they downloaded Spotify so they can listen to other genres of music and the Spotify app is use all over the world. At the global, national, regional, municipal, neighborhood, subculture, and super culture levels, cultures can exist. Such civilizations interact in many different ways and are not antagonistic to one another. Increased productivity, business growth, innovation, and efficient resource usage are all factors that industrialization brings about in terms of economic growth. Increased trade openness benefits countries' productive capacity, global market integration, foreign direct investment, and technical progress.

Thank you for this lesson sir, This is what I've learned about local and global culture, The global community encompasses the way people around the world interact with each other through commerce, information sharing, and online communities. Global communities are made up of people from different countries, with the goal to connect globally. Local communities are made up of people who live in the same country and have a common interest or passion. The difference between global and local communities is that one focuses on connecting globally while the other has a focus on connecting locally.

Local culture recognize the expertise that people have in living their daily lives. It reflects ordianary people's feelings and appropriateness, comfort and correctness attributes that define personal preferences and changing tastes. The relationship between the Local and Global culture is the Globalization. In fact, the local and the global are interdependent and cannot exist without each other. The local is necessarily always in relation to other. Without the presence of the other, there can be no cognition of the local all and would be one the same. Cultural globalization refers to the transmission of ideas, meanings and values around the world in such a way as to extend and intensify social relations. Through the existence of wireless communication, electric commerce, popular culture and international travel, globalization is seen as a trend. 3. Additionally, I've also learned that there are five scape of technology namely; ethnoscape, where it concern with the movement of people, financescape that refers to the movement of money, ideoscape refers to the flow of idea, while technoscape refers to the flow of technology and lastly the mediascape where it deals with the flow of culture and media.

However, it fosters a sense of identification among rural communities and their residents, allowing us to recognize the common values, traditions, and perspectives required to improve wellness. Second, globalization affects how local communities relate to one another. we lived in a world that was becoming globalized as a result of globalization. Finally, the mixing of traditions and the exchange of cultural values among several countries are influenced by global culture.

In international communities, people from various countries get together to forge bonds that transcend national boundaries.

As far as I know the term globalization is derived from the word globalized. Globalization is the system of interaction among the countries of the world. That the country and other countries are sharing or spreading their products or cultures. 2. My thoughts about industrialization are the process of transforming the economy of a nation. 3. And cultural deterioration is the process of becoming progressively worse or losing its culture.

The 3 things I've learned throughout the discussion: First, the effects of Globalization brings positive effects in the economy like it creates more opportunities for firms, this can lead to more access to capital flows technology, human capital, cheaper imports and larger exports markets and allows businesses in less industrialized countries to become part of international production networks and supply chains that are the main conduits of trade. Second, Globalization has also impact on local culture like it brings changes in language, has change our way of clothing, has change the way of communicating, introduced new products and introduced to new values and traditions. Third, among 5 scapes of Globalization I have learned that the technoscape talks about the flows of the technology. One thing that globalization brought was the technologies, and with the use of the technologies we can easily access and look for the information we are looking for. Also, because of the technologies it makes our lives easier faster and comfortable.

Good Day Sir.. Thank You For This Lesson. For This Video, I Have Learned The Following: To begin, local culture is a set of behaviors, beliefs, and customs that exist within our community/country. Second, "globalization" refers to the increasing interdependence of the world's economies, cultures, and populations as a result of technology, cross-border trade in goods and services, and capital, labor, and information flows. Lastly, The words cultural deterioration, to me, means that a society is gradually losing its values, beliefs and traditions. This can include people's ways of living and thinking, as well as how they interact with one another. When a society or community loses its cultural identity and becomes insular, it loses the ability to form strong bonds with other communities.

1. Local Culture culture dwells in our relations with the nearby climate and scenes, in our neighborhood music and imaginative articulations, locally's set of experiences and contemporary social issues, and in our family's accounts. Rustic people group and inhabitants can feel a feeling of personality through their neighborhood culture. Through this personality, we can recognize normal qualities, customs, and understandings crucial for working on prosperity. Nearby character and fortitude are fortified by culture. 2. Because of globalization, we live in a globalized world. A course of phenomenal change is moving throughout our social orders. Worldwide powers influence neighborhood values and societies with their viewpoints and thoughts, whether they are valid or bogus. As new changes happen, mainstream society, or the way of life of individuals, additionally changes. The communications, requests, and wants of the customary world shape mainstream society. Nearby societies have to a great extent vanished and have been supplanted in numerous countries by a kind of culture impacted by broad communications and the reception of worldwide patterns. 3. An assortment of normal convictions, ways of behaving, images, and encounters is alluded to as a worldwide culture. At the worldwide, public, local, city, neighborhood, subculture, and super culture levels, societies can exist. These developments coincide in various ways as opposed to being fundamentally unrelated. Then again. the mixing of customs and the dividing of social qualities between numerous countries are both affected by social globalization. For social globalization is portrayed by the converging of buyer and business societies across countries and the development of worldwide correspondence. In addition, consistently, we come into contact with people who practice different religions, communicate in different dialects, or start from different countries. These discussions permit us to learn new things, grow our insight into the world, and without a doubt reinforce our connections.
