I was watching Eddie Vedder’s performance of “Black” at PinkPop 92 and thinking how desperately modern rock needed that kind of intensity again. And here comes Badflower! The guys shouldn’t be surprised when they pick up multiple Grammy nominations and possibly run away with a Best Rock Album win. You have the haunting ear worm effect like Radiohead, that Grunge feel like Pearl Jam, and a bit of Beastie Boys and My Chemical Romance vibes on a couple songs. It’s great to hear a genuinely authentic and great Rock band getting a chance to take a blow out of the horror show that has become mainstream music. Real Rock is back in the spotlight!

T P you have listed out everything that I love the most about badflower! There had been many times were I'd watch Pearl Jam's pinkpop 92 performance and then fall into deep hole of depression knowing that there can never be a new band with such energy and talent to hold up the name of rock. But then badflower came along and saved us all! The way you described them by comparing them to those other bands was perfect! If these guys become the next best thing in rock and win multiple awards they totally deserve it!

I remember being terrified of the fact that there were several upcoming pop artists and rappers who were trying to be edgy, but here comes the glorious rock band of the decade to deliver me from those 'edgy' artists that I wasn't into. I am so proud of Badflower's success and I hope they win those Grammies!

So excited to see them in SC with shinedown. I got a couple people at work hooked on badflower and we will be driving up to see them! We all requested off of work months ago. It will be amazing!

Why ist Josh always in the center? I wonder if it's because he's the singer or because everyone agrees on that. Don't get me wrong I love him, I'm just curious.

Well in my opinion every band has a “leader”, so it is very normal to see. Obviously it depends on the personality of the person, and I think Josh is the most charismatic, a showman, meanwhile the rest of the guys are a bit more shy than him. So yes, for me they all agrees on put Josh as the main face of the band.
