April Jones is optimistic about the future of local food systems in our country. She is the founder and manager of the Pinehurst Farmers Market in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. Hear from her about how the market was born after the sudden closing of two local grocery stores. April's love of community helped her bring the vision of healthy, organic food to the neighborhood. The market's mission includes being a hub of commerce promoting food justice. April believes the answer to injustice is to get involved. Tune in to be inspired by her self reliance and community action.
