1) Can air and sea drones please be set up to help secure beaches near designated booths attended by life-guards (for viewing drone- cameras on multiple live- stream screens & to operate in-booth drone controls)? ~~~ ALSO ~~ 2) Integrate regulations related to 🚩DREDGING🏊 ("renourishing" eroded beach sand), to avoid accidentally increasing shark access (esp to dips between sandbars) & stirring up bait-fish populations where and when swimmers will be nearby!!! ~~~~~~~ Ocean swimming isn't just important to the tourism industry, but also to the health & pleasure of local populations. 🏖️ Thank you.

If there were drones regularly in the air operated by Lifeguards(or maybe FL game/wildlife?) patroling the waters there in FL, they would probably hesitate to actually go into the water to save someone ever again. I bet itd be truly terrifying at times to see just how many sharks there are not very far from shore in certain areas, and on certain days. Florida absolutely has a shark population problem, ESPECIALLY bull sharks, theyre everywhere.

Biologists need to take a break on "Attacks are super rare". They are rare because people and sharks don't necessarily swim in the same areas, but when they do the chance that a bull shark will get interested in a swimmer is quite high. Bull sharks are extremely aggressive and investigate everything that moves.

As a Florida resident….I never go in the water unless it’s a pool. Go to the beach….lay in the sand….walk along the beach in ankle deep water…relax….but going in the water is too dangerous…not only because of sharks but mostly because of the under current that can pull you away from the shore into deeper water and you can get tired fast and drown.

@@janicesmith2475 Actually he's not. A marine biologist said the area had been really hot and dry, reducing estuary flow of fresh water into the ocean. When that happens, salt water concentration at the beach increases, bringing in krill, the bait fish which eat them, and the sharks that eat the bait fish. Climate change changes a lot of things because in nature, everything is interconnected. The sharks did not care about the temperature, but the result was their food was closer to the shore.
