I love the word "drunk". "This opened bottle of water is already half drunk." The reason I love the word is because it's not just something that can happen to a drink, but something that can happen to the drinker. If you drink a bottle of water, the water gets drunk. If you drink a bottle of vodka, you get drunk. You're trying to drink the vodka, but the vodka pulls an Uno reverse card, and now the drink drinks you right back, so you're the one who gets drunk. The hunter becomes the hunted. It probably has a boring origin, like "I've drunk" becoming "I'm drunk" because the person saying it was drunk. But I like the "The drink drinks you right back in retaliation" explanation.

All jokes aside I read an article profile on Scott Haney and he’s overcome a lot. Even though he didn’t come out until he was 26, everyone at school could tell before he could, and apparently made life hell for him. His first ever on screen TV job was in Topeka Kansas, where the Westboro Baptist cult leader Fred Westboro was, and this was back in 1993. He’s still doing Better Connecticut, but that’s more of a side gig, his main thing is being meteorologist on the weekday morning news, and spends all his spare time and at least half of his weekends each month doing charity work. He’s actively involved with a lot of different philanthropic ventures, and hosts a lot of fundraisers etc for charities locally. Scot also spoke of his mental health and that his bubbly on screen personality is just that, and he’s quite badly plagued by depression and anxiety. The interview was with CT voice and is worth the read.
