I live in VA, and there are several Turkish restaurants. I love the food, I watch a lot of Turkish TV. The only thing I do not like, there's not enough diversity. I am used to seeing every rainbow of colors of people, black, white, Asia, Latin, Indian, etc. And I love it!

Multiple cousins of mine used this doctor and quality was really good. This is the only one I can confidently tell you for sure others you will have to do your homework. There is plenty good ones for sure

When I went Istanbul all the fake market goods are rubbish quality. I bought three trainers and all went in the bin the sole is held together by cardboard and the material isn't even leather it rips after two wears no joke. If you do not believe me you can buy a pair and take the inner sole out you will see it comes of as it is not glued down and underneath is cardboard. under the cardboard is ridged rubber which means putting your own comfie sole won't even work as it will break and tear in the ridges. The trainers and handbag I bought all ripped as the material is rubbish and went i the bin.

Selam, 12 day pass will cost you about 100 Turkish Lira which is about $5 🇺🇸.... You can buy them at machines at the airport, grocery stores etc, but Link below is the best place to buy. I was pickpocketed in Fateh area by two women , tbh opened my rug sack but fortunately I managed to notice on time. The ladies are probably from an Rana country ., I don’t want to name a country because I am not sure ,they are very active in this area of Fateh . And now with high inflation I feel like people are getting more desperate. So take care of your pockets and bags

Exchange 💱 money I recommend doing in Taksim or using PTT 🏧 they don't charge any fees.

Taxi is tough one honestly but I recommend looking up the route using Uber app to get an idea how much normal rate cost. If local taxi tells you something crazy you can compare both rates and figure out if it's a scam or not.

They all do but in my opinion you will get the best rates around Taksim area. Worst case you are looking at difference of 2-4%

Hi, Egyptian Bazaar is the best place to buy. Whatever initial price they give you make sure you only pay 30% of that initial price. Negotiate on the price because they always 3x it for foreigners.

Most speak little bit of English very basic. Google translator works great as a back up plan. Hope that helps.

@@lisasimpson2983 Yes , Turkish kabob they dont use many onion and they use onion in different way in kabob thats why their kabob is not juicy .they do not use sumac and they use other ingredients which turn the kabob color to red and kills the meat taste . they don use mix of sheep and beef and leg and shoulder in good proportion . their kabob is small too and dont taste real .

Yes,you are right ,the iranian food its nice,delicious,depends from where do you eat.I live in UK and hardly i can find a good restaurant where the koobideh its delicious,in rest,just business…

Both same just make sure you know your conversion rates to Turkish Lira when buying. They will definitely try to take advantage of you so be ready with calculator in hand......I highly suggest you buy in Turkish Lira honestly

Just be aware most of this guys they make money promoting This stores I have been to those store multiple time there no deals there But yes if you have an opportunity visit turkey is great country and you find a lot of deals
