3 жыл бұрынThe State of Emergency in Washington DC has been officially declared, and over 25,000 troops are in the Capitol for the Inauguration of 2021. The town is boarded up, but we haven't seen any tanks as of yet. As we walked around, eventually gaining access to the Green Zone, it's mostly military just hanging out. It might seem odd, but the street closures are making touring around very interesting these days.

I'm from the DMV and DC has been my backyard my entire life, I was overseas when all this happened (Oct 2020). I can't tell you how surreal it is to see the madness from outside the US. It was like watching a shitty reality tv show. To hear foreigners talk about the idiocy of the US and the events that happened, brings a new level of shame to a person and really changes your perspective. Glad you guys were safe. Great channel!

👎Shame on Joe Biden and the Democrats for the way they treated our 🇺🇸National Guard🇺🇸 troops called up to protect them. Thousands of National Guardsmen who are in the nation's capital to provide security for the presidential inauguration were told to vacate the U.S. Capitol and congressional office buildings. “Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” a guardsman said. Politico obtained photos of guardsmen huddled in a parking garage, with many sleeping on the ground. Fake news people giving it zero coverage.

Hey! I was there in the military (working in the Pentagon) when all the Vietnam demonstrations were going on....It was pretty wild then too.

Incredible Guys! In the middle of the covid period, they managed to show this whole situation in DC. Wow! I loved the images, the sound, and ... how was it to shoot? Did you have any complications?

Some of the soldiers and police definitely looked at us kinda funny with our camera, but there were lots of people from the press out as well, so it wasn't that difficult/uncomfortable!

That must be really cool to live in Washington DC I mean this in a good way get to see the Abraham Lincoln Memorial did you see all those places that are normally open I went to Philadelphia one day one time with my family got to see constitutional Hall I wish someday I can go to Washington DC and see the Constitution of the United States that would be something to see you are a great role model to a lot of people out there doing these beautiful videos I know some people may be mean but I'm sorry about that but those people that are being mean

You should have already gotten out of DC....if you are sticking around, stock up on food, water and emergency supplies and plan to stay in your home. It's about to get bumpy.

@Dirt Dog Sure, you seem pretty informed. I’ll leave you to your conclusions. By the way some of these National Guard in the Capitol are part of highly specialized/trained groups...some of the equipment being situated there has NOTHING to do with an inauguration.

Why do they have these guys on the Barney Fife program with the gun and bullets separate? They are suppose to be up against organized militias and possible suicide bombers and they have to go grab some bullets? This isn't going to end well.

We're reading some reports that the FBI is vetting all these guys because they are concerned about whether some of them could be 'loyalists' to the current administration...sooo....maybe they don't get ammo until vetted? Crazy to even think about, I know!

I have a question there are some people that only went to the Trump rally why are they being prosecuted for only going to the Trump rally to exercise their First Amendment right why are they being blamed for storming DC when they had nothing to do with it I know it happened I know other people storm DC from what I seen on the News for people that only went to the Trump rally after that they went home or to work why are they being prosecuted for something they do not even do this is not right this one couple only went to the Trump rally and they're being blamed for going to and for participating in the riot I'm trying to understand why the government is blaming some people for not doing nothing yes I understand that this happened but why are they placing a false flag on some people
