Thanks for educating us. Just subscribed for more content. Like most, I have questions but will start off easy on you.... I have an 800 acre MLDP property that I help manage. This past year, we bush hogged some of the hunting fields, drug them with land rakes to remove all of the cut weeds and grass (no chemicals used), disc harrowed the fields, drug them to break up the big stuff, harrowed again and then planted . Food plotted (fall/winter blends) portions of them and perennial rye on the remainder. We came back early spring and planted coastal for summer cover. Fields turned out beautiful and have had activity on them ever since but, that was a lot of work and it sounds like you have a process that is a little less labor intensive. So, I just purchased 73 acres for myself and am currently preparing the property but do not want to follow the same process as above. I would like to know, what are you using to kill off the weeds/grasses that you are able to go back and immediately put down fertilizer and seed that does not hamper the germination process and kill off the new seed? Location of both properties is East Texas. Recommendation for blends would be great as well for the upcoming fall planting season, I think I can get it done in time. Thanks for putting out the videos. Much to be learned.

Would you broadcast 50 lbs medium red clover across 7 to 8 acres in fall. I am in mostly a wooded area in north east michigan. Seems like everything is pounded starting early august. I was thinking off broadcasting mostly cereals with red clover this fall. I do have some rr soybeans that are doing well but i added buckwheat and millet at planting and just sprayed them being the beans big enough to handle the browse now. Winke and You have a great channels.

I’d like to try and get a fall plot going . Have never done a plot before. Maybe just a couple small 1/4 acre plots to try it out for the first time. So July 20-3aug 20 before a rain for planting. But before the planting what do I need to do the prep the spot I want to put the plots in? Should I mow then spray or visa versa? Spray then burn with fire once dies? The two spots I have in mind are currently fescue and canary grass mainly with various weeds

I've got a 1/4 acre spot in middle tennessee. What blend would you recommend for something to last most of the hunting season

Jared, in March this year I frost seeded some clover in a power line right of way and when I mowed it awhile few weeks ago the clover just is good enough to keep but it isn’t great. What you you recommend seeding into right before a rain this fall to make it a little better? Then next spring I would likely frost seed it again to try to make the clover better. Also in your video I noticed you were wearing a half face mask with cartridge filters on it while you were spraying. Is that something you always do or was it because of a certain chemical you were using? Thanks DJ

Hey Jared, always love the content. I would like to take a shot at making a food plot for this fall. You made the spring plot look so easy, and I've always thought you needs tons of equipment to do it. Can your fall plots be put in just as easy and have some success? Interested on how I would go about doing that. Would love to try some of your seeds.

I have a question, do the deer spook when you put a camera on a T post in the middle of the field? I always try to conceal mine so it doesn't stick out.

Hey Jared season is comming soon! So my question is I have basically 2 acre kill plot ..I live in New York ..could u mix the one plot and the rut greens? I know u mentioned it but for a kill plot which one would u go with that u think would be most attractive? Thank u!
