TNA in their prime was so underrated. There were so many great rivalries and excellent matches. You can tell they genuinely cared about the wrestling and their fans. Looking back, I was more excited about tuning in to TNA as a kid, as opposed to WWE for a period of time.

They don't got the money any more. Used to be financed by Dixie Carter, but I guess they spent beyond their means, hiring top talent and decking out arenas like this. Never got the big crowds or PPV audiences to sustain it. Its a shame because for a few years they looked like they could genuinely trouble WWE.

It's shocking. In WWF/WWE, Mick always brought the passion, the enthusiasm & the thrills outta each & every fan in attendance. There was no such thing as a dead crowd whenever Foley was in the ring. The TNA fans just don't seem as appreciative of Foley's blood, sweat & tears as the WWE Universe always has. Foley Is God!

This was a pretty match pulled by highly skilled wrestlers. Yet, it was clear that Sting lack experience with the hardcore style. As far as hardcore action goes this was far more tame than what Mic has done with other wrestlers in his career. Overall, I am glad this match happened.

Prime vs Prime? Depends on which face of foley we see... even 2003 Lesner never had to deal with someone half as dangerous as Cactus Jack. Now though? Maybe in a hardcore match (foleys very resourceful) but foleys pretty war torn. Even with DDP yoga and everything else I dont know if he's in any condition to go to hell and back again.

Taker isn't in the same position as Sting. Taker is 48 and has already semi retired and wrestles one match a year now, and I'm sure that won't even be for too long. Sting won the TNA Title only last year when he's over 50 now. Taker has it just right, he appears once a year when he's really needed and puts on an awesome performance every time.

It doesn't matter if TNA is better or if WWE is better the only thing that matters is that this was a great match put on by two Legends who are both past their Prime and still put there bodies on the line for the love of the business and the appreciation of the fans who's followed their careers
@andysmith4976
@andysmith4976 11 жыл бұрын
I hate to say it as i have grown with these guys but time has caught up with 2 legends of this business that started about the same time time in professional wrestling. The Undertaker and the Sting their bodies have given up even if their their mind hasnt. Another person who I feel pity for is Mick Foley. His life before and after the 1998 H in C match is unimaginative. Pity these people do not get respected by people like many other athletes do
I'm Excited To see If Kelly Can Meet This Challenge!
