Thank you for tuning in to the first How to play Dhol class with Indy Notta to keep you entertained and learn a new skill during the 2020 coronavirus covid-19 lockdown.
This lesson will focus on an introduction into holding the Dhol sticks and learning a few basic notes (bol). You will see in the video that this is for beginners and you can get involved with or without a Dhol or Dhol sticks.
In this lesson there are 3 rudiment exercises to practice and get comfortable with before the next video.

Best online dhol teacher - I am his student and in a very short time, I have started to enjoy the passion of lifetime..I had zero musical background. He taugh me the basics .. and I can actually play the chaal and breaks..lovely experience...I will be back

Ive got a wee dhol, just got my sticks (proper ones)! I'm going to be 49 tomorrow. I want to learn dhol because I love drums of all cultures. Never played any drums before. Thank you for making these videos. I sound horrid! Smile. I was born in England but now live in Boise, Idaho so my neighbors hate me.

I kept on asking my 22 year old son to play for the autistic school children. He refused every time. Then I decided I must learn at least a few beats to give those children experience to listen to first-hand music. Thank you. It was easy to understand. I shall learn to play myself.thanks you

That was so fun but I wish I would love to do dhol and doing Bhangra with Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji and Gyani Ji at Sachkhand Nanak Dham Spiritual Hub Darbar at Richings Park in Iver, Loni, Batala, and Gurdwara Ramgharia in Slough, Reading, and Golden Temple in Amritsar, I will feel enjoying myself.
