I can watch deer archery hunts all day- turkey hutn is sort of like bass fishing TV- pretty boring but I guess it's necessary-- BTW agree with the decoy comment, call em up clean without a decoy - or let em go. Decoys work but it sort of sucks for the Turkey, hate to fool a critter so bad they don't have a chance - but that's just me.

My Bone Collector Smackdown .670 for my 835 is absolutely LETHAL with darn near every load I feed it, including the now discontinued and notoriously difficult to pattern Federal Heavyweight 15 gm/cc 3.5" load. My .555 winchoke Smackdown for my 1300 Black Shadow and TC Prohunter won't pattern anything. Lol

Sucks they took 2 weeks from our season and took a bird. Then you have to wait an extra week to hunt public land. They are making it hard to hunt turkey this year. They change the rules and it sucks.
