Locker Nuts episode 340
This is part 2 of the locker where another bidder "made me pay" by running me up, then bragging about it to his wife on a hot mic accidentally. This 10x15 unit was left behind after the previous owner passed away, and I paid $800 to find out what is in it.
In this episode, I move the unit before the clean out deadline, and then start to go through some boxes to see what's inside. And lucky for me, there are surprises!! The $800 purchase price is starting to seem like a bargain.

I am very impressed at how you treat the items you find with respect; even if it is garbage to you, it was a treasure to someone at one time and you treat it as such. I think that is why in every video I am always rooting for you to find that lost piece of the Crown Jewels or a forgotten Van Gogh painting.

I can't help but imagine about the deceased person. She must have been one classy woman to have such clothes, coin and painting collection, and jewelries.. sad when those things don't get to go to her family to be cherished and not recognized for their actual value..... but am glad you still got lucky to get them.

@Rob - What has bidding up another bidder have to do with one’s work ethic? Better Google “work ethic” before making further comments about “work ethic.” Also, bidding up the guy (who Jack stated he knows), is not unkind. Beating him up or slashing his tires would be unkind. Too late. He def scratched em up with how he dumped them. FYI that tube of Silver eagles has a premium... Meaning they sell for more than the spot price of silver. And if they're pristine, no scratches or scuffs, they're worth even more. You should get close to $600 or more for those now.

If they’re pre-2002, they’ll have an even bigger premium. If they’re all 1996, that’s $45-50 a coin.

PCGS is a coin grading service. The description on the front of the slabs is 2005 S (meaning it was minted in San Francisco), Proof 69 (that refers to the condition of the coin) deep cameo (refers to the finish of the coin) the fact that those coins are graded guarantees their authenticity and make them worth more.

Oh my gosh Jack that is so awesome, and I agree with you, you need to start saving gold and silver because who knows where the economy is going we may certainly need it one day down the road. My husband has been investing it gold and silver for some time now. I am so glad that you investment in that locker is paying off.. So happy for you! Great job Jack! The afghans take hours for someone to make by hand and can sell to right buyer for lots or you could donate to a nursing home or homeless organization. I crochet so I can appreciate the time that go's into making one of them.... so don't overlook them please, someone would love them.

There is funny thing about that couch! I was browsing market place and thought wow someone really took a moment to list all pertinent details as well as describe condition clearly down to the smallest of detail. The dollar coins are worth more then a dollar. Uncirculated are worth about 7-8 dollars each. The Washington commemorative is about $25. The American Eagles 25-30 dollars a piece.

I hope the owners of these facilities make some effort to try and find relatives of deceased unit holders,family should have the opportunity to aquire their relatives effects. Who knows what priceless family history may end up at the dump because it has no monetary value to whoever buys the unit.

In stead of wasting money on storage lockers. Put what valuables you can in your banks safe deposit box and write a will and enclose the key. What you can't store give away. Best way to make sure what you leave behind gets passed on to the right people. 🥰

Definitely keep the coins and silver! PCGS is the best coin grading company and your graded coins can be valuable. Check ebay. Don't open the sealed plastic rolls of the gold dollars, sell them as a lot for more than $12. Check every 1 oz American Silver Eagle coin for good dates that are worth far more than silver melt value.

As someone in the vintage and antique busfor over 20yrs, vintage linens and afghans sell very well! Poshmark and Mercari are great places to sell it and 5he silverware. Was bummed you put the mirror out on the curb, it was a fabulous vintage one! That would be a $75-100 mirror here in Denver.

20 of the 1 oz of silver coins is about 34 bucks for each coin. That's 680 dollars. then you found a gram of gold, which is worth 67 dollars by itself.

Yeah Jack, Try a familiarize yourself with the plastic coin holders ! At first I thought you were joking around about them. But many of the top and most valuable coins are now graded and encapsulated in those tamper proof holders just like the sports cards. PCGS is the top company and NGC the next one both are well known and trusted by coin collector s and coin traders. Also anything behind a seal like those rounds you found are best left sealed up at least until you are at a professional coin shop and get advice from them. Sometimes the seal if still intact adds hundreds of dollars to the value of the coin set.

The 20 silver 1 Oz coins you found I wouldn’t touch them with your bare hands anymore. The silver tarnishes faster with the oil from your hands on them. Those are worth silver spot price plus a premium based on the year on them. Some of them are worth up to $50 each. Great find on the coins and the jewelry.

Just remember precious metal fluctuates in value. But grade coins and uncirculated coins hold there value. 20x24=$480 thats just in scrap silver, thats not including the mint of the coin. So yeah great score brother. Keep up the great finds. Love your channel you & pirate both inspire me. I hope I can do this someday, when I'm not in this apartment getting gov. help. those 20 silver coins I just looked on ebay and there are plenty selling in that same tube.. around $550 for 20

You never touch coins with your bare hands..also u never shake them..or rub them together..they are worth more without scratches..at least the slabbed ones didn't get damaged..on the stabbed ones ..it tells you the grade..of the coin.. n the year ..what it is..thats how you sell coins for higher prices..the more scratches n nicks..grade low..sell for lower prices..
