Locker Nuts episode 549
This locker is huge -- 30 feet by 12 feet and super duper tall. The walls are lined with tall shelves and the aisle is clogged with stuff. It's day 3 at the second train locker, and I'm ready to adventure into the back and see what treasures are hiding in the shadows. Are you ready to come with me?

Sargent Pepper with Peter Frampton & the Bee Gees was a film they made together using the Beatles soundtrack. Tackyish, but good at the same time xx. All the best UK 🇬🇧

Vinyl records need to be stored upright. They will get damaged from the pressure of being stacked. "Old enough to know from experience" lol

The small, half-circle wood table is a vintage telephone table. Every house had them. The phone sits on top and the middle held all the telephone books.

Those little RAF cards in the frame were given with cigarettes, you collected whole different series in the 30s 40s 50s and 60s here in the UK. Very collectable especially framed like that Jack.

I’m glad you’re getting a wider variety of non-train items, as they give us a wider picture of the man himself. Despite what you have told us about him, he has remained rather one-dimensional. The more personal items are bringing him more to life. He had such an interesting life I’m enjoying this very much

When you are on eBay, if you take your oldest listed items and end listings and then to to the ended listings section and select the ones you just ended and click sell similar. They will all be like new listings again! it only took me 5 minutes to do over 200 of my oldest listings. It keeps all the pictures and descriptions so you don't have to do anything but click a few buttons. I just learned this the other day and have sold a ton of old stuff that has been listed for a long time!! Just thought I would share...

That Mancini album brought back memories. When I was a Senior in high school, Mancini came to the State Fair of Texas. Our choir hosted the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Assn.) day at the Fair. Henry Mancini directed my choir at a show there. We sang songs he wrote! (That was 56 years ago).

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. I have a great admiration for this man and the fact he wanted to set up a working train museum. He would have been a very interesting man to have a conversation with. I’m sure he’s looking down and very happy with the respect and care you have demonstrated with dealing with both his storage lockers.

I was surprised to see he was class of 80 all the his time I was thinking it was someone in their 80’s. I like that this one has some other misc items in it. I just had an auction with KGB trains and 250 Easton press books that went very well.

The Sgt Pepper's LHCB album is actually a soundtrack double album to a film they released in 1978, with a story based on the songs of the Beatles with all the songs sung by various other singers and bands. Aerosmith did a great cover of Come Together and Steve Martin does a fun cover of Maxwell's Silver Hammer. The film was trying to cash in on both the success of the movie Grease and the success of the Bee Gees from Saturday Night Fever. It flopped. Hard. But it's worth a watch once if you're a Beatles fan or a fan of Frampton.

Long time viewer, first time commentor. Your train lockers have driven home what my faith has always told me which is the opposite of this old saying. "He who dies with the most toys wins!" Praying he found faith before his death as even though he may have been one of those who died with the most toys, I would say you are the winner in his dying with those toys.

Hey that shuttle picture is actually worth something. It's a picture of the first shuttle launch and the reason I know this is because it is the only time a shuttle has ever launched with a white tank. The paint was so heavy that they eliminated any other paint jobs on those tanks for every other launch.

I've been watching a bunch of your videos and find you pleasant to watch. A suggestion for your upcoming season to stay cool would be to invest in cooling towels you can pick up at your local Lowes or Home Depot. I have several and they are soooo nice on hot days. Hi from England. The framed cards are most likely out of cigarettes called Woodbines, which were really popular pre ww2. There were lots of different sets to collect, and there was one card in each pack of 10 Woodbines. If you have the complete set of planes, and it looks like you have, you might want to get them valued to sell in a specialist UK auction.

Interesting to eye the remainder of what this gentleman stored. I am happy for you that you are the one that purchased this. Be careful to be humble and not to get caught up in wha may appear to be greed.. you do such a wonderful job with the narrative. I wish you continued success.. it is sad when someone loses their possessions and are obtained and resold by another…. Interesting and entertaining to watch but still sad….

The cropping style is a scrapbooking bag. They were popular about 20 years ago. They go for quite a bit on eBay.. I haven't seen them in quite a long time. They usually sell them in the scrapbook stores.

Also check for first editions in all those books, usually i don't check either unless it's a well known title, very old one, or in cases like this where you know the person is wealthy.

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned to you before but have you ever thought of reaching out to Sir Rod Stewart (I’m sure he’s famous in USA as well as here. Jack those little train pieces (like signs etc) you might sell for a better price on EBay vs your live auctions. People that collect trains, ones that are just getting started, or even ones that have done it awhile would enjoy putting them with their collection. I would break them down into medium size lots.

What is really interesting is that there are these factories in and around the world where they make these trains and models that come with superb packaging ; it would be interesting to view one of these factories and see their production process.

It would have been interesting, but major time consuming, to make an Excel spreadsheet using the invoices or the price on the boxes, to cross reference what he paid to what you have listed, auctioned and sold. You would then have had an idea what he paid for a lot of the items and how much the items have appreciated. That would have made you an expert in the pricing of trains, planes and automobiles. I do think that it would have been a full time job. Numbers nerd here.

It's probably too late but you laid the paint brush on top of the packing paper in the garbage can. The paper was from the Luxor glassware.
