I've been buying a lot of lockers lately, and I picked this one up through an online auction. It's near to my house and right in front is a couple stacks of black & yellow totes... and you know I love those! The prior owner here was a mail carrier, and she had a bizarre selection of items stored away in her locker!

The one here in San Jose takes donated food for unhoused people with pets. They feed the animals there Science Hill only 🤷‍♀️ I think this lady may have cared for a feral cat colony 😸🤷‍♀️

you can give the postal uniform to your letter carrier to give to union. They collect uniform pieces for new employees

FYI those dates are not expiration dates but "best used by dates" if the canned goods are not open they are still good.

Those baby Jordan's were Air Jordan 3 french blue, and elephant print. Also that earlier painting that looked hand made of shoes, were also Air Jordan 3 shoes. And the used black baby Jordan's were Air Jordan 4 oreo colorways if I remember that one correctly? Lately you're finding more stuff I'm actually knowledgeable on lol

Cant help but wonder if she tended to a feral cat colony or two. One of the places here in San Jose provides the food for folks that make the commitment to help. I tried to donate some leftover dog food from a dog i fostered and the local ASPCA takes it to give to the homeless with pets. They feed the animals in the facility strictly Science Hill. She was a good bargain shopper 🤷‍♀️ a little on the hoarderish side though. Im at the tail end and holding out hope for a great surprise!!! 👍

It did look good with all the Black/Yellow bins. I would have bought it as well. As you always say its a gamble. Sometimes it seems the lockers that look junky turn out to be good, and ones that appear to be good are just mediocre. Thanks for another great video. So good to have you back and doing well. I enjoy watching your videos, Jack, going through another locker!!! I noticed some people in the comments were saying where you could donate cat food and canned food for people. Since the cat food is not in its original bag, most animal shelters will not accept it. With the “people” canned food, it can be donated to a shelter if it's not expired. They will not take expired canned food. For both of these kinds of places, I'm saying this from experience from my state of Iowa. Other states may be different.

Could this be a landlord who has evicted tenants and this is their property? In the UK they have to keep tenants property for a certain amount of time before disposing of it. They just put everything in storage - hence the food.

Expiration on food is only on there because of the government not because food goes bad unopened. I’ve eaten canned food that was 3 years expired and did not die!

Can food will last a lot longer than the stamped date. But how it is stored depends too on longevity. Those units may not be temp controlled so food could be bad. You should open one on screen just to see what condtion canned goods are in!:)

Shelf stable milk the milk you threw out was probably still good they do something to it. I used to buy it overseas and put it in my food storage system. You still get it in China other countries, Philippines, Bahamas mini countries that are hot you can still get the box note it’s shelf stable so it doesn’t go bad even after expiration datefor like years

The markdown tags on the shoes and clothing looks like Costco clearance tags. In fact, I paid $10 for the exact shoes at Costco. They do put out of season stuff on clearance.

If I was shopping and they were giving out expired food I’d take it for sure. I’m not beneath getting help. When SHTF you will want food over clothes. You can eat expired food beyond what’s on the can.

Kappa is a brand I first saw in Saudi, but the brand is sold in the US and it’s made by a company that’s in Italy. I don’t think the stuff is necessarily made in Italy.

I never sell those, as I re-use them. I only keep then black/yellow and flip top green ones, as they stack really well. Also, we've had a couple family members move recently, so I had a nice supply of black/yellows to loan them to save on boxes.
