It is time to pen yet another farewell note, this time for "Shri Mrinal Kanti Biswas Kanti Biswas". He began his journey from Chitpur shed, on the 9th of June 1987. Through his career, He stands a witness to transition from Steam to Diesel to Electric Locomotives. In his early days, He functioned as Steam Operator, later as Loco Pilot of Diesel Locomotives (over 33 years). For past 3 years, He has been driving Electric Locomotive powering Mail Express Trains. He concludes his Last service in the 12343 UP Sealdah - Haldibari "Darjeeling Mail" on 13/08/2023.
Amongs numerous qualities a Loco Pilot must possess, alertness stands out as paramount. As a seasoned pilot, he strongly advises younger generations to maintain constant vigilance as any lapse of it could lead to consequences affecting many lives.
As he retires, we will say farewell to his immense reservoir of experience. Thank you sir for your service. We will miss you.
