This episode made me so sad. Star is such a sweet girl she was so kind to Jackie even though she was slightly envious. Star and Marco were great friends but Star secretly did feel hurt by the fact that they were supposed to go together

The way Star looks at them when they first meet, her incessant concern and her gaze upon seeing them skateboarding together; you can tell it's not just friendship jealousy, it's something much deeper than that, and even so she encouraged him to go out with Jackie because it was what he wanted for a long time. We need more animations that are deep like that.

I love that I remember these types of videos on childhood shows, even though I was born when these shows were at the ending of their gold age, just because later episodes weren't dubbed into my native language and episodes just repeated on what they had dubbed.

This moment was pretty touching to me, I left behind an old life and fell into depression, all I had was media to cope, then my friend’s best friend and I met. We started off with a bit off small talk, then topics got a little more personal to share with eachother. Eventually, we got together. But few weeks later, I guess she wasn’t ready, so I was in the friendzone for a while. About a week later, she moved on with another person, I still cared about her, so I tried to cope with being a friend. Months later, she leaves the person because they were neglectful and abusive to her. I add her on other media to try to stay in touch with her, we text, but I accidentally call her. We talk a bit on call, at first I was feeling awkward since it’s been a while I’ve heard from her. Later in the conversation, she talks about how she felt I was probably the safer choice. The reason I relate to Star in this part is because I wanted her to be with someone because they made her happy, not because they need their heart fixed from being broken. But later that night, after playing games together, she finally said she still liked me. I was lost on my decision, but eventually, we got back together.

You know what pisses me off? “You rejected him, don’t blame him for that” yes your right, but I don’t want to be selfish upon my own emotion. If I like someone I don’t want them to prevent them from anything they like. If they love someone, I will do anything for him to go with her, I won’t force him to be with me, that will ruin the friendship. I would rather talk and be apart if their existence then make them uncomfortable and hate me later. I don’t want to be selfish, because that will be the end of a great friendship, or me, being more and more despaired and broken by him bragging on how amazing this new girl is, and the fact I let him talk, only because he is happy.
