► In this video:
With dramatic, imposing beauty everywhere you look, Norway's Lofoten islands are like nowhere else on earth. Lofoten, traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. So we will take you to the there from our eyes.
► How to reach:
Bodo is one of the major town in Norway which connects to the various parts of the Northern Norway by Bus, Ferries, Flights, so you can choose any mode of transport from Bodo and reach the Lofoten Island.
The islands are also connected by bridges and the E10 road.
There are buses running from Narvik so you can reach Narvik and take a bus but the frequency is less or you can rent a car and drive through the Island so plan accordingly.
There are two bus lines in Lofoten i.e., between Å i Lofoten, Moskenesand Svolvær.
Bus 300 which runs through Lofoten and goes till Narvik.
Whereas Bus 742 runs between Å i Lofoten, Moskenes and Leknes and bus 741 runs between Leknes and Svolvær.
Check official site for latest info:

Tip: if you are staying for few days in Nordland, then you can buy Nordland pass for around 100 euros pp, valid for 7 days from the time of buy. Please mind that tickets can only be bought online in their official app.
► Places we explored:
We spent quite a few days in Lofoten and stayed at different places during all that time.
We started our journey in Svolvær, it was our first stay. We stayed there for a night, we walked around the city, tried some local food, chased some northern lights and enjoyed the night.
Svolvær and Leknes are two main towns in all of the Lofoten.
Later in our journey, we travelled to a places:
Leknes
Hamnoy
Sakrisoya
Reine
Ä
► Travelling Tip:
1. Most Scandinavian countries are cashless i.e. it might be difficult to trade with hard cash, so it’s better to have bank cards which will work there at no or minimal transaction fees.
2. As it’s a coastal area and moreover it falls under arctic circle, so weather can change at short notice or no notice at all. So, you should be ready for such changes.
3. Travel insurance is highly recommended if you are travelling to Scandinavian countries.

we were there in November 2022, its been a month but still not getting over it. We landed at Bodo Airport and rent a car, then from ferry to Moskenes. It was something one of its kind trip. I am still amazed how you people managed that Lofoten Trip by Bus. All the drone shots, your description, video graphy were amazing. Lots of Love from Pakistan

Informative video, thanks for that! Did you find it easy to get around by bus? Do you perhaps have any suggestions of natural spots easy to reach? I'm planning to go on a similar journey soon!

In winters you cant really wander too far off the road, for that bus is good enough but frequency aint that great and if weather turns bad, its the first thing that gets shut 😅 so be wary of that. For other places to go around checkout the next part kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sNOidKiWzL_Pnmg.html

Awesome video guys! I'm going in a few weeks (end of December) - how long does it take by bus from Svolvaer to Reine and are the buses reliable? Also (and I really hate to ask this but it's the price I pay to be out here) how is the wifi quality in the town? Lastly are the hiking trails open / safe even during winter?

Hello thank you so much for your comment. It takes around 3 hours from to reach Reine. If you are using bus services then you have to be careful with the timings, they are usually punctual but when there is any kind of storm or weather is not good then it can stop their services. It happened with us. We got stuck for 3 days. Later we had to book a flight for bodo. You need to book the tickets online, you can download the app name reis nordland, it was very helpful. Be careful with the cash, most of the places don't accept cash. You have to do the transaction with your card (careful with the conversion rate) We stayed in sakrisøy, there wifi speed was quite good. We didn't face any problem related with internet. There were not much options for hiking although we climbed the small hill near our house and we walked through the towns in lofoten. You need to be careful with groceries if you are staying in an appartment as there are not much shops nearby. Watch my another video on Lofoten, I have mentioned some small details there. Don't forget to check the description box. Happy journey & enjoy 🎉 Its a totally different experience
